We’re coming up on the most wonderful time of the year again. Christmas musicals, candlelight ceremonies, carolers, and cookies.
While Christmas is a celebration of Jesus’s birth, it is also a time for giving. I’ll be the first to admit I struggle with the stress of gifts around this time of year. I love buying gifts, but there have been years when we haven’t been able to afford to give everyone in our family a gift. I also worry about spoiling my daughter with mountains of presents that distract from the real reason we celebrate at Christmas time.
I know we give gifts because the wise men brought gifts to Jesus when He was born, and I know being able to give to others makes my heart happy. I just want those presents to be meaningful and thoughtful.
That’s why I decided to put together this Christmas gift guide for you. My favorite gift to receive is a book, and it’s much more appreciated when the person who gives me the book has chosen that specific title because they know it’s something I’ll enjoy.
The InspyRomance authors have written some amazing books, and I think they’d make great, thoughtful gifts for the important people in your life, especially women. Your mother, your sister, and your friend might want to experience the wonderful stories we love to talk about in these posts.
What’s even better than an amazing book? An amazing book that’s signed by the author! Those are always my favorites.
I’ve put together a list of some of the books written by our Inspy authors that would make great gifts. Browse them and see if you can find a story you’d like to share this Christmas.
2021 Christmas Gift Guide
I have paperback copies of all of my books that I sign and mail from my home. I also include a matching bookmark with every book, and I like to throw in stickers too.
The Unfailing Love series is complete with seven books. They’re set in a small Georgia town, and revolve around a group of friends. Some of the stories have a little bit of suspense. They’re all great gifts for any woman who enjoys a super romantic story with characters who have real life issues to overcome.
The Blackwater Ranch series is complete with six books and features the Harding family who run a cattle ranch in northern Wyoming. These stories are gripping and heartfelt from the beginning to the end.
You can fill out this form or email me at mandiblakeauthor@gmail.com to order. All books are $10 plus shipping.
Tara Grace Ericson has some beautiful books that would make great gifts. I love these covers so much, and they would look great on any bookshelf. She also signs them and includes bookmarks and stickers.
Her Main Street Minden series has four books with one for each season. They’re wonderful reads with inspiring messages.
Her Bloom Sisters series is fantastic! I’ve read all of them, and they are always at the top of my favorites list. Plus, the covers are gorgeous.
You can fill out this form or email her at Taragraceericson@gmail.com to order. She also has deal bundles if you purchase a whole series.
Liwen Ho’s stories are my go-to when recommending books to friends. I have loved every book I’ve read of hers, and she has a LONG list of titles to choose from.
You can check out her full listing here and order most of them in a paperback format. I recommend her Spark Brothers series.
Hannah Jo Abbott has a little something for everyone. Her Faith and Love series is set in a small town called Pinehaven. I can tell you that Pinehaven is like so many towns where she and I live in Alabama, and the community theme that spans all of her books is fantastic.
She also has a three book Hometown Billionaires series that is unlike any billionaire series you’ve read before. They’re still set in Pinehaven, and I loved her fresh take on the popular billionaire stories.
You can check out all of her books here and order them in paperback.
K. Leah is a new InspyRomance author, and she has some wonderful books that make great gifts. I actually have some of her books in paperback that I’ve read, and I recommend them to everyone. Her Finding Home series has something for everyone. Plus, they look SO good together!
You can find hers on Amazon here.
Elizabeth Maddrey has great books for the strong women in your life. She writes intelligent women who won’t cower when the going gets tough. They’re smart and mature in the best ways, and it always makes for a story that draws you in.
She has multiple series to choose from, but you can’t go wrong with any of them. Check out the Peacock Hill series or her Hope Ranch series. Her books always have a wonderful message and never shy away from good faith content. You can check out all of her books here and order paperbacks from Amazon.
Janet W. Ferguson has some wonderful Christian romances to choose from. I absolutely love the settings of her books. I live in the Southeastern United States, and both her Southern Hearts and Coastal Hearts series feature some of the most beautiful settings in this region. Her characters are raw and real in interesting ways. Any reader would be thrilled to get these books for Christmas.
You can check out her full list here and find lots of paperback options. The covers are all gorgeous too!
The Heroes of Freedom Ridge series has something for everyone. This multi-author series features books by Tara Grace Ericson, Liwen Ho, and myself. They’re set in the small town of Freedom, Colorado that’s nestled in the Rocky Mountains. Between the beautiful scenery, interesting characters, and exciting stories, you’re sure to be full of Christmas cheer when you binge this series.
You can find all of them in paperback here, and more are still being released every other week through the middle of December.
If you want more bookish goodie gift ideas, check out the Freedom Ridge store! There are tote bags, T-shirts, sweatshirts, mugs, blankets, notebooks, and more! They’re the perfect gifts for anyone who likes to cuddle up with a book.
I hope this Christmas Gift Guide has been helpful. I really enjoyed putting the list together. There are so many more wonderful books that would make great presents, and I know you can find the perfect gift for readers here.

Hi Mandi! This retired high school English and German teacher and avid reader, prefers Amazon gift cards to books; since I have books in every room of her house and over 800 books on my Kindle app. As an Oma (grandma), I give my grandchildren (ages 16, 14, 8 and 4) books for Christmas and birthdays. My brother and youngest son I send Amazon cards as gifts. My friends with grandchildren, I give gift certificates to our local independent bookstore Forever Books, so the children can pick out a book of their choosing. Forever Books also has lots of fun gifts besides books (night shirts, tea, mugs, bookmarks, and more). Thanks for the fun list. Best wishes.

I LOVE books as gifts, both giving them and receiving them. I also like Amazon giftcards, so that I can pick what I want!
Mandi Blake says
Oh, I would love a snuggly blanket to wrap up in while I read!
Mandi Blake says
Those are some great gift ideas too! I like to read mostly on my Kindle now, but I love having a physical book with me while I travel.

I prefer a gift card so I can pick what books I want. My husband is a wonderful gift giver, but he has no idea what books to buy me. So he opts for a gift card (Amazon or Walmart) because he knows I’ll be guaranteed to get what I want.
We do like to buy books for the grand-girl though! She’s seven and loves reading :-)

I really enjoy both giving and receiving books as gifts. I’ve also seen some really cute bookish socks and bookish themed jewelry that I think make great gifts. I know Roseanna M. White sells some really cute bookish themed items in her shop on her website. Thanks for all the ideas!

I have always given my grandchildren books for their bdays and for Christmas along with other gifts. When my grandchildren were younger I would buy them a book with a stuffed animal that went with the book., I would also get them pajamas and a throw blanket. I like to receive and give books for special occasions. Have a great week and stay safe.

Hi, Mandi! Thanks for the wonderful book ideas. It was neat to realize how many I have already read and enjoyed. Often, when I try to think of what would make a good book gift or try to remember one that I loved so that I could recommend something to someone else, my mind goes blank. This list is so full of good ideas. Thank you!
No need to include me in the drawing. I have already received, read and loved “Guarded by the Hero.”

Thank you for the post! So many I have not read yet.

Wow! What a wonderful list! Also, yes, books make for the best gifts to a bookworm. :) I love the idea of gifting a book bundle: a paperback with a bookmark, as well as some book swag (could be stickers, a mug, socks, or even pens).
