Happy July! Here in the states for many of that means extra time to read while on vacation, lounging beside a swimming pool or on the beach. LOL I’m not that fortunate, but I’m happy to read anywhere. To assist you with your summer romance reading I’m offering A Love Song for Kayla for free–today is the final day at this price. http://amzn.to/2sH1C9F
I thought it would be fun to visit the topic of romance. Romance can mean different things to different people. For example have you ever heard someone say “how romantic” and you couldn’t fathom how that could possibly be considered romantic?
To me romance is more than a storyline in a book, and it’s not the same as love. I think of romance as a general feeling that can be brought on by many things. For example, clothes that flow feel romantic to me, the Eiffel Tower symbolizes romance in my mind, and picnics on a grassy knoll with your special someone all represent romance to me.
I look forward to this discussion. :)
Many of you are aware that I have my own personal blog. Recently I had my blog moved to my own site and in the process all of my subscribers were erased by WordPress. I would love it if you would hop over to my personal blog, where I spotlight Christian romance books each week, and subscribe. Thank you for the book, Kimberly! :D Romance conjures up soooo many things….simple things like holding hands and walking along the beach, receiving flowers, a kiss…….so many flood my mind it’s hard to separate them out, one by one.

Hi Kimberly:) Hmm, romance to me is someone knowing the little things and doing those. For example, today we went mountain bike riding with our family, some of our students and some friends. For me it was special that my husband chose to stay with me and our boys (which means stopping frequently to help the boys), rather than riding hard with the others. He was away for our 15th wedding anniversary, so organised flowers and a card through a friend- I think that is romantic:)
Blessings:)

Hi Kimberly! Thought provoking blog. The sign leading into downtown of our small town states “Michigan’s Most Romantic City.” To me or my opinion, romance has many meanings depending on the setting and the people involved. Our city is romantic because of our beautiful pristine sandy beaches, our parks, our vineyards, rolling hills with ravines and creeks, and gorgeous sunsets. We have romantic wedding venues. Perfect places to stroll hand in hand along beaches and nature preserves. In relationships romance is knowing the other person and those random acts of love – flowers, chocolates, picnics, beach strolls, carousel rides, and dates. Happy Independence Day.
