Did you have a good Thanksgiving (if you’re in the USA)? Not only is this week Thanksgiving week, it’s also National Bible Week. I thought the combined week is appropriate because it’s a reminder that our Thanksgiving stems from God blessing us and that many of His blessings are recorded in His Word.
What are you always thankful for?
For me, I am always thankful to God that Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior forever. I love the Bible, all of it, but my favorite verse is still John 3:16. It encapsulates the entire Gospel message.
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” (John 3:16).
I am also always thankful for my family. Like other families, we have our share of drama and dynamics. At the same time, it’s through trials and tribulations that I see the deliverance and provision of God. Growing in grace, I find my faith strengthened when I pray for sick family members as well as for my own health issues. Glorifying God is more important than having a problem-free life.
“…but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and forever. Amen” (2 Peter 3:18).
What are you thankful for this Thanksgiving week (or whenever your country celebrated Thanksgiving, if it does)?
As a Christian, everyday is a day of thanksgiving. I praise God 365 days a year, and 366 in each leap year.
“Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you” (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18).
On this special week, I am thankful that God never abandons us. Even though my son is living out of state and will not be traveling to join us for Thanksgiving this year, God is still with us.
Have you read a Christian romance novel recently that reminded you of how thankful you are to God in your real life?
I always hope that my novels would remind my readers of God and point people to Jesus. Sometimes in a the real world, we need a pick-me-up, so I try my best to write only books that have happy endings to encourage anyone who reads my books.
Do share about recent novels you’ve read which made you think about God. And here’s to more happy reading for many years to come!
On that book note, I want to give a shout-out to the leadership of InspyRomance. I thank God for Valerie Comer, Elizabeth Maddrey, and Narelle Atkins, the superwomen trio who keep this blog site running smoothly year after year. And yes, I also thank God for all the authors here, taking time out of their busy schedule to blog once a month all year long. May God bless you!

I’m thankful that we live in a country where we can still open meet to worship God, and that we have so many different translations of His Word!! Honestly, I’d be a basket case (or dead) if not for God! I’m thankful for my salvation, and His Spirit living in me. I’m also thankful for all of the Christian fiction (and non-fiction!) authors! I have a long list of authors I pray for every day (and yes, the Inspy blog authors are on it).

My family and friends. Also that my 95 year old grandpa is still alive and still doing pretty good but he needs 24 hour care but we don’t think he has too much longer but we never thought he would live over 2 years after my grandma passed away suddenly on March 24 2020 from a fall we always thought my grandpa would die first.I stay every Sunday night with my grandpa so I want to be with him until he dies cause I was very close to my grandma I would go to her house about every day and build puzzles with her. The last few years we didn’t really get together for Thanksgiving because of the pandemic so this year we went to south Dakota to see my sister and her family.
