It is my pleasure to introduce you to a debut Love Inspired author, Angel Moore. She’s not only a fellow Love Inspired author. She’s also a dear friend. Angel’s debut historical novel, Conveniently Wed, came out on December 1st and is doing very well on the charts and garnering terrific reviews. I highly recommend it. Angel is giving away a paperback copy of Conveniently Wed to one lucky person who leaves a comment. She is currently working on a sequel to Conveniently Wed.
Husband by Necessity
To save her family’s homestead Daisy Mosley will do whatever it takes, even if it means marrying a rugged cowboy who thinks he knows best. But though the widowed mother of two takes Tucker Barlow into her home as her husband, she isn’t ready to welcome him into her heart.
Tucker knows his marriage to Daisy is about convenience, not love. But after years of hiding his feelings for his childhood friend, he wants to shower her with affection and favor her twin sons with the fatherly attention he’d missed. Can he show Daisy that he is more than just a practical groom—he is a man worthy of her love?
A few questions for heroine, Daisy Mosley:
1.) How would you describe yourself in four adjectives?
I’m loyal, determined, curious, and hopeful.
2.) What’s been your biggest challenge?
Trying to raise twin sons alone after their father was killed by horse thieves. Nothing else in my life prepared me for how hard that would be.
3.) What is your biggest regret?
That my mother didn’t live long enough to meet my children.
4.) What makes you a unique heroine?
Probably that I’m a lousy shot, but manage to protect my family. That was the most surprising thing to me. Holding out for the right to keep my farm in spite of people who don’t think women should own land my make some think I’m unique. But I think deep inside every woman is the strength to hold on to what she believes in – if she won’t let life beat her down and take that strength from her
5.) What makes Tucker a good choice for a husband?
He was always such a dear friend. Friendship makes marriage stronger. Don’t misunderstand, I love him dearly, but our friendship is what made me take the time to get to know him as my husband.
6.) What differentiates your twins from one another?
If John didn’t have a freckle on his lip, I’d never have been able to keep them apart as babes, but those boys are as different as night and day on the inside. James is my eager one. He’ll charge into a situation without a thought for his safety or what might happen. He’s a talker. John, on the other hand, will sit back and watch. He likes to figure things out in his mind. He’s quiet and apt to follow his brother anywhere.
7.) If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go?
I’d have to say my favorite place is my home with my family. It’s not the fanciest place I’ve ever been, but there’s nowhere I rather be. If I was just gonna take a trip, I might like to go see the ocean.

I love friendship stories with marriage of convenience themes. You made me laugh with the “lousy shot,” Can’t wait to read it Angel? I still have to figure out if we are related. Lots of Moores in my and my husband’s family.
I really enjoy marriage of convenience stories and the journey that brings them closer. Add in twin boys to the mix should make the book even more interesting. Looking forward to reading this book. Welcome to Love Inspired Angel.
I like to read marriage of convenience stories, I always want to see it they fall in love or it’s a battle of the minds.. Would love to read the book & I have a niece Angie Moore :)
Hi Julie. You would love the book. Angel does a masterful job of setting up the reasons for the marriage of convenience and the tension and push/pull that occurs. Wow. Wouldn’t it be funny if you were related.
I, too, love marriage of convenience stories. Thank you for the chance to win a copy of this book.
I enjoyed the interview and this sounds like a wonderful read. Thanks for the give-away.
Julie, I’m married to my best friends. To me, it makes our marriage so much stronger. There are lots of Moores. Who knows? We could be connected. :) I hope you enjoy Daisy’s story.
Thanks for your kind words, Belle, and for hosting me today. It’s my first blog!
Tension in marriage…imagine that. ;)
Thanks, Nancy! I’m loving being a part of the Love Inspired line. I’ve read their books since they first came out. It’s an honor to be working with them now.
I hope you enjoy the book. The twins were fun to write.
D K, my first experience with marriages of convenience was reading Betty Neels’ books. They are among my favorites.
It seems the Moore name is popular today. :)
Hi, Susan. Thanks for joining in with us today. I love these stories, too.
Thank you, Ann. I enjoyed writing it. The characters and town have become a second home for my mind these days. :)
This sounds so good. I like the plucky widow finds love type books.
I love “Love Inspired” books, I literally have hundreds of them on my bookshelf! And I wouldn’t mind a few hundred more, lol! My favorite genre is historical fiction & marriages of convenience or mail-order brides. They usually butt heads at first, but then you see love slowly blossom in many different ways. Daisy & Tucker have a solid friendship to build on, which, in my opinion, is the best way to start a marriage! My husband & I started that way & it’s made us strong. I loved the interview with Daisy, it added a bit of charm to the story. Thank you for the chance to win a copy of “Conveniently Wed” & for taking time to share a bit about you. Glad you’re aboard the Love Inspired train! Blessings to you and yours!
Thanks, iamabrassy1. I like to see people move from tragedy to love.
Hi, Trixi. Thanks for stopping by. I think our bookshelves must be very much alike. lol
I’d have to say there are areas where Daisy and Tucker have to learn about each other. Even when you know someone well, you learn a lot more about them after you get married.
I’m so grateful that you’re the featured guest today. And thanks for gifting one lucky person with Conveniently Wed.
Isn’t that the truth! I’d say even after almost 18 years of marriage, there are still things that I am learning about my husband. He just gets more wonderful as each day passes :-) Thanks again for the chance to own a copy, even if I don’t win, I’ll be putting this on my “to buy” list!
Being a man I always stayed away from romance books reading thrillers and action books (clean books that is). However, after hearing my wife talk about some of the Christian novels she was reading, and me being between books, decided to read a couple. I got pulled right in.
I just finished reading Conveniently Wed and loved it. I give it five stars! The story line is wonderful. I loved all the characters involved and the way that Angel Moore wove all the personalities together and brought it to a delightful end. I had a hard time putting the book down. Wanting to get to the end to see what the end results were, I also didn’t want it to end. I felt like I was living in their story.
I look forward to the sequel.
Thomas, it’s great to hear that Christian novels pulled you in. I love it! And I too give Conveniently Wed five stars. I don’t read a lot of historical books, but when it’s a great premise and story….I find myself getting pulled right in. Thanks for stopping by.
Sounds like a wonderful book. Great interview. Thank you for sharing.

Hi Angel!! Congratulations on your debut! I’m so excited to share in your joy. Beautiful cover for a beautiful book.
Hi, Angel! So excited about your debut! I just bought it the other day and can’t wait to read it. I love marriage of convenience stories, especially historical ones, because I think the different era adds a very different angle to it than we have here in our modern world. Congrats on Book Number One! :)
Thanks, Thomas. I’m so glad you enjoyed Conveniently Wed. I’m working hard on the next two. The books are written, and I’m in the revisions stage. Thanks for stopping in today.
I’ve got you by a few years, Trixi. I’ve been married for 36 years. And I’m still learning, too.
Thanks for all those stars, Belle! I love reading something outside of my usual taste and enjoying it. It’s like a new dessert that I didn’t know I’d like until I tried it.
I’m glad to be here today, eppersondkatrina. I’m glad you liked Daisy’s interview.
Thanks, Deb! I’m glad to be shelf mates with authors like you and Belle. Love those Love Inspired covers! They do a great job on them.
Thank you, Kristen. I hope you like it. I’ve always been a fan of historicals and a marriage of convenience.
