I’ve talked before about my Lavender Vale Farm series. I have a few updates on it that I wanted to share today.
One of the reasons I enjoyed writing this series was imagining the beautiful Texas hill country. Especially in the spring and summer when the wildflowers are blooming and everything is a deep green. I also loved the characters, the three siblings, Faye, Melanie, and Ben who each find faith and healing at the lavender farm.
For me, there’s something about being outside and close to nature that helps me feel closer to the Lord. I see His handiwork everywhere and can see so many spiritual lessons unfolding right before my eyes. The faith of a seed. How birds and other animals have everything they need, and so can we. The parables about weeds and good soil. The list can go on and on.
The series has been bundled into a collection that is available in ebook and print. And, if you have Kindle Unlimited, you can read the whole series for free.
One other thing I’m about to get started is putting the complete series on audio. That will get started in March.
If you’ve not read the Lavender Vale Farm series yet, buying the complete series is cheaper than buying them separately.
Visit the beautiful Lavender Farm where a family of three siblings finds hope, healing, and love in the Texas Hill Country.
It starts with a man on his deathbed.
An estranged daughter.
A young man who belongs to no one.
And the mercy they find in a loving God who brings them all together….
Because of the Lord’s great mercy, Faye and Chase decide to turn the little farm they’ve inherited from Heath into a Lavender Farm for tourists to enjoy, deep in the heart of the Texas hill country. What they didn’t expect was for this simple farm to become a place of healing and restoration. When Faye’s siblings—Melanie, soon to be followed by her wayward brother—Benjamin, show up on their doorstep, needing help, love, and acceptance, their vision for the farm becomes something neither of them anticipated.
In the midst of beauty, there might be thorns.
In the thorns, there might be pain.
But in the beautiful places, where the Lord’s light shines brightest, there one finds healing and restoration.
Read all three novellas in one complete collection and lose yourself at the Lavender Vale Farm.
Happy Reading,
Jackie Castle

Hi Jackie! As a Michigander so looking forward to spring, which is in the air. While the sun is warmer, will be another month before we have spring flowers. Michigan has several lavender farms. One has a labyrith. I enjoyed reading the Lavender Vale series. Best wishes.

Oh! A lavender labyrinth sounds wonderful! All we have is corn mazes, LOL!

Jackie, I’m curious as to how you go about choosing someone to narrate the audio books. Do you have a publisher who handles that or are you doing that directly?
Caitlyn Santi says
Ooh, this series sounds awesome! Lavender is one of my favorite scents and I have a screensaver of lavender fields on my computer! And I also LOVE series about siblings! 🙂

I do it directly using ACX. I put up a book and narrators audition for it. I pick someone who has a voice that feels like it fits my story.
Jackie says
Ha ha! Hope you enjoy it.
Jackie says
Thank you.
