Happy Saturday!
Well, I don’t know about you, but I have a fun day planned. First, bridal shower. Well, no, first I get to see my grandson!
Then my daughter and I are going to a bridal shower. Then dinner out with great friends to celebrate anniversaries.
Oh, the joy of Saturdays.
Do you have a favorite day of the week? Maybe it’s Sunday.
I love Sundays. Love them!
We are blessed to attend a house church with people we have been close to for years, now. Then lunch, then we go to Passion City Church at five o’clock. We do this every week and love every minute of it.
Oh, the joy of Sundays.
Then there’s Monday–really, who loves Mondays? I think it’s fair to say there are certain aspects of Mondays that I love. Like I know that’s the one sure night my hubby and I have dinner together. Usually he cooks. Hey!
Oh, the joy of Mondays.
And Tuesday? Well, I bowl in a league on Tuesday nights. I bowl with my husband and my dad. What great times we have. Even if we don’t score well there is great conversation and laughs.
Oh, the joy of Tuesdays.
Mid-week Wednesday. Bible study night! Well, from five to seven. Great ladies, great discussion. The fellowship is amazing and once again my hubby cooks dinner.
Oh, the joy of Wednesdays.
Thursday, well, I’ll be. It’s already Thursday? Thursday holds many possibilities. Once a month I meet with writers at the I Hop. Fun times. Sometimes I go and visit my mother who feeds me well. And sometimes I hang out at home and write, or play with my cats. Three cats. Love them.
Oh, the joy of Thursdays.
And Friday?? Who doesn’t love Friday? A lot our Friday nights are spent with some great friends. We eat, fellowship and are known to have powerful prayer time.
Oh, the joy of Fridays.
Oh, yeah. Today is Saturday. We’re back to that. I guess I usually have a pretty good week. How about you? Do you have a favorite day of the week?
We’d love to hear about it.

I don’t necessarily have a favorite day. I think it depends on what is happening on any given day. If it’s something I’m looking forward to, that’s my favorite day.

I don’t have a favorite day of the week, but if I had to really choose, it would be Sundays. Why? Because this is when I get to spend some great time with my church family, listen to my pastor, & see what God has to say to me. Not that He doesn’t speak to me everyday, but there’s just something special about worshiping together as the body of Christ. I can just imagine that this is a small glimpse of what heaven will be like….worshiping the Lord as a group of believers! And then after service, we gather in the fellowship room for coffee & goodies and some great conversation amongst ourselves. It’s like having a family reunion every week :-) It’s a chance to catch up and maybe even pray for each other or hear testimonies of what God has done for us that week or hear about answered prayers. I always look forward to Sundays with great anticipation, my heart ready to hear and my spirit ready to be refreshed!

I love the joy you find in each day of the week, Lindi! With three children, our schedules stay busy, especially this time of year. I love days when nothing is on the agenda and we can just enjoy being together, as we did yesterday.

Merrillee–Looking forward to something for sure makes for a great day. :)

Trixi-I love how you said it’s like a family reunion every week. How true! I love Sundays for the same reason.

Britney–I agree!! One of my security questions for a program I have at works asks “Your favorite vacation spot.” My answer? Home! It’s so good to hang out at the house. :)
