Almost a decade ago now, I had the idea to write a story to encourage others who suffered from anxiety and to encourage other prodigals, like myself. That mission became a reality April 15, 2016. The journey was long, discouraging at times, but beautiful in so many other ways. The scripture from James 1:17 came to mind as I wrote this post. “Every good and perfect gift is from above…”
The journey has been a gift to me, and I offer this book as a gift to you today. I hope you enjoy it, and if you’ve already read it, share the book with a friend. Amazon only allows it to be free for a limited time, so scoop it up today or tomorrow.

5 Stars “This is a beautifully written Christian book that never gets preachy. The characters are genuine and could be one’s next door neighbors. They are in real situations that take depth to work through.” InD’tale Magazine

Thank you for gifting this book to all of us. I have struggled with anxiety all of my life (that’s a long time) and until recently i didn’t understand it. I just thought I was flawed, broken and crazy. When the symptoms developed in my teenage daughter and we sought help for her, I learned the truth. Thank you for tackling a topic that perhaps many people don’t understand and for giving hope.
Have a wonderful Tuesday.

Happy birthday Janet! I snagged this book a couple of days ago & based on the great reviews I’ve read, it sounds like I’m in for a treat :-)
Thankfully I don’t struggle with anxiety, or at least not the level where it becomes a real problem or well above “normal”. If I find myself getting worried about something, I’ve gotten into the habit of repeating the scripture in Philippians 4:6-7 “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” I used to worry much more than I do, but since I’ve adopted that habit, God has given me peace and stilled my worried heart! What a joy and a blessing that is, He is so faithful.
