I’m a sucker for anything cozy. Crackling fireplaces, a steaming mug of coffee, or snuggling under a blanket when the temperature outside falls. Add a good book set at Christmas time and you’ve got yourself just about the perfect combination!
I had the pleasure of joining together with three other CCR authors to bring readers Christmas in Mistletoe Square last year. Pepper Basham, Cara Putman, Janine Rosche, and myself had a blast creating cozy, festive stories around Mistletoe Square at the center of the small mountain town of Kedgewick Creek, North Carolina.
I want to invite you to visit Mistletoe Square this holiday season and experience these sweet romances—but time is of the essence! The collection is only available through the end of this month, with the e-book on sale during these final few days.
Here’s a preview of what’s cozy in each of the four novellas in this award-winning collection:
Christmas is in the air in Kedgewick Creek, North Carolina, at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains. One December, will romance find four couples or will the pressure to maintain the festivities Mistletoe Square is known for keep these couples apart?
The Christmas Clue to Loving You by Pepper Basham
What’s more cozy than a Christmas Scavenger Hunt, a matchmaking granny, a little Christmas magic, and a cute guy in a kilt?
Silver Bell Secrets by Cara Putman
You’ll feel warm and fuzzy with this small-town heroine meets big-city hero romance that includes a charming bookstore.
An Unscripted Christmas by yours truly
This second-act love story takes place amidst the town’s traditional Christmas play—complete with twinkling lights, kisses stolen on stage, and memories of love throughout the years.
Dreams in Toyland by Janine Rosche
You’ll find a quintessentially heartwarming Christmas romance when two strangers, both in the toy store business, team up for an overnight secret Santa mission under the glow of starlight!
Don’t miss your chance to cozy up with Christmas in Mistletoe Square—available through 11/30 here.
I’d love to hear about your favorite cozy Christmas reads, or tell us what you find most cozy about this time of year!
I like to read any book any time of the year! It’s in the 80’s here today, so not cozy but HOT!
I grew up in Central Florida, so I remember well those not-so-cozy holidays!
I like sitting by our fireplace and sitting at a table with a blanket and build a puzzle I love building puzzles.
I love cozy things as well! A hot drink, a soft blanket, a fire and a good book to read I have read Christmas in Mistletoe Square and I loved each book! They will make you feel all kinds of cozy thoughts!
a fire
Sounds delightful! I love puzzles too.
Oh, I’m so glad to hear that! Thanks!
Can’t beat it on a cold day!
I enjoy reading in my kitchen by my table with a blanket covering my legs. I have read Debbie Macomber’s new Christmas book. Christmas Spirits. I have also read James Patterson’ s Christmas book that could be considered some what of a romance, The Twelve Topsy-Turny Very Messy Days of Christmas. I have not laughed so hard in a long time. Thank you for sharing. God bless you.
I Love a soft cozy throw and a warm fire in the fireplace with a great book in my hand!
Woops so forgot to comment. I love cozy Christmas. I have read Melody Carlsons A quilt for Christmas this year.
Being aussie this time of year can be cosy in a different meaning. But so far its been a very wet spring. We normally don’t have the humidity we have had this year. But I do love this time of year even if it gets warm. I am trying to get the garden under control. With all the rain the weeds are thriving.
I have been watching some hallmark movies.
What great recommendations! Sounds fun (and cozy) :)
Great minds think alike!
You’re so right that “cozy” can be all year long and found in various ways! Thanks!
