  1. Hi Ginger- wow, hard to believe how fast since this time last year!! Some days I think time is speeding up! We had a special Chapel program at school today- an excellent speaker who drew out some great insights from the story of Rahab and the spies and made it relevant to our students and how they choose to ‘run their race’.

I love the feel of a book in my hand, but I appreciate them all! I live in Florida, so school has actually been in session for a week now. It’s hard to believe that my daughter is now in 8th grade.   17. We love what we do, Renate, and we love sharing our work with our readers.

    School here in Alabama started the first week of August, but we get out in early May and have both fall, winter (Christmas), and spring breaks. :)

  23. While I get to put the bundles together and post, I give all the credit to our authors for the wonderful prizes. It’s their generosity that allows us to have such a great giveaway.

  24. Fall? What is this season called Fall? It’s still pushing the 90s here in Alabama with near 100% humidity. HOT and not at all fall like. LOL I can’t wait for cooler nights. Of course, we sort of have three seasons here… summer, a cooler summer, and a short winter. At least that’s how it feels some years. We have gone from 50-60s one day to the upper 80s the next, and then it stays that hot or hotter. :/

  33. My back to school days are over and I wonder how did I ever do it?
    Of course, I was a lot younger back then and had more energy than I do now.

  91. The local schools here started back today, but being homeschoolers we’re waiting until the first week of September. We have five kids in school this year—11th, 9th, 7th, 5th, and 1st. It should be….interesting!
