I’m in the midst of brainstorming a book idea. I’m taking the basic synopsis that I sent to my editor and expanding it — diving in and figuring out who my main characters are and discovering more in-depth details of the book.
Today, I thought it would be fun to let you, readers who love inspirational contemporary romance novels, to have some fun brainstorming a novel too. How? Just answer the 7 questions in the “Come Plot With Me” poll I created. I can’t wait to see your answers!

Hi, Lis! I agree: lots to consider when you beginning brainstorming a book. Looking forward to seeing your (others’) answers. :)
Oh what FUN!!! Beth, you are one of the best brainstormers I know!!!
Pepper: We’ve had some fun brainstorming together, haven’t we? I love brainstorming with other writers — and it was fun to give readers a chance experience it! :O)
Lots of fun, Beth! At least you’ll have a pool of ideas for future books. :)
It is fun, Lisa. And yes, I peeked at the answers so far and I love them!!
Mine is the Max and Amy story…marine conservationist meets beach-loving attorney. A why/why not story…there are many fish in the sea, but she caught the one she wanted…now to make him realize his heart deserves rehabilitation too. :P
Lisa, I love this!!!! See, you’re brilliant!
Fun survey, Beth! It was hard to pick one location, though. I’d have to alter my answer to say part small city/part mountains. Fits with the cowboy theme. Gotta have cowboys… :)
How is your brainstorming coming along for your latest story?
Blessings,
