Have you had enough turkey and stuffing yet? What about reading time? Is there any such thing as ‘enough’ reading time? I’ve read a lot less these last few months than normal, but I’ve been writing up a storm and while I take a short break from that, I wanted to share some news with you.
It is officially release time for my very first Love Inspired book! To celebrate both the book release and my favorite time of year, I’m giving away one paperback copy of The Cowgirl’s Last Rodeo.
This week is a whirlwind of excitement for me. I celebrated my birthday, Thanksgiving, and a book release. And last week I spent a whole day with over 70 authors and readers. It’s a lot for this little introvert heart to handle but I have loved every single minute of excitement.
It was great to meet so many people in person who I’ve seen and talked to online.
And I want to know how you’re doing and what you’re reading. I’m keeping today’s post a bit short because if you’re like me, you’re still in a bit of a groggy haze after yesterday’s holiday, or maybe you’re celebrating today. Maybe you’re not celebrating at all, and that’s okay too.
Brody and Callie are about to celebrate their story going out into the world and they’d like to share a little about what you can expect from The Cowgirl’s Last Rodeo:
She left home to chase her dreams
Now she’s back seeking a second chance…
When Callie Wade’s horse goes blind, there’s only one man who can save her barrel racing career. Brody Jacobs is the best horse trainer she knows—if he’s willing to help. She broke his heart when she left him behind to go after rodeo stardom. This time, will they put their hearts on the line to reach the championship…and a future together?
To enter for your chance to win one (1) paperback copy of The Cowgirl’s Last Rodeo, leave a comment telling me what you’ve been doing this week. Or the last book you read. Or just say hi!
Winner must have US mailing address (sorry international folks, I’ll do a digital giveaway another time). Comment by November 30th to enter the giveaway.
Happy belated Birthday and Blessing this Thanksgiving weekend Tabitha! Hubby and I spent a quiet Thanksgiving. I did a big Thanksgiving last year, plus we had the entire family together in June when I hosted my oldest grandson’s high school graduation. Didn’t want to make plans since I had cataract surgery on my right eye on November 13. Didn’t read much as my brain is adjusting to a new lens and for the first time in 59 years I am not wearing glasses. Last book I read was Merrillee Whren’s Puppy Love and Christmas Kisses. Best wishes. Enjoy the weekend.
Working, reading and enjoying time with family! Happy Belated Birthday and Book Release!
Hi Tabitha, I’m in the UK (so don’t add me to the giveaway) – there’s no thanksgiving holiday here so it’s just been an ordinary week, starting to look forward to Christmas thought! The last book I read was A Small Town Christmas by Melissa McClone.
I am busy spending time with my family, reading, watching football games, and shopping.
Happy Birthday. Today is our daughters birthday. I would love to read your book. I was a rodeo girl at one time. I loved to barrel race. I was this tiny thing on a huge Palomino. But we made it work. Did I win anything? Nope. But that was ok, because I was on top of Goldie and we had so much fun. The speed and the knowledge that my horse had my back and we were having fun was all that was needed. Such wonderful memories. Lots of hard work and responsibility and fun. My mom knew what she was doing letting me work with a horse.
I’ve been spending time with family, reading watching TV, and will be watching some football games. Been watering my houseplants this week.
LOVED this book, and being on your ARC team for it! And, you can NEVER have too much reading time!!
Happy Thanksgiving weekend! We celebrated on Wednesday with dinner at my son/daughter-in-laws house. My active 2 year old grandson couldn’t get enough mac and cheese!
Good morning , Happy Birthday and Congratulations on your new release! I was a little busy this week, putting things in place, kind of hard to do since we are remodeling one of our bathrooms , but I do what I can. We had a very nice Thanksgiving with our daughter, our son in law and our 2 grandchildren that live in our same town. Our son , our grandson and our daughter in law live 6 hours away, and they are in the process of moving into a house, so they weren’t able to make it, Godwilling for Christmas they will be able to come. Last night I finished reading Cold Case Revenge by Jessica Patch and I really loved it, it is full of Mystery, Suspense and a little Romance, I highly recommend it to everyone one who loves all these 3 things in a book. Have a great weekend. God Bless you and your family.
Hello. Happy book birthday. We have spent Wednesday and Thursday chopping and cooking for Thanksgiving. Today we have been worn out. Thank you so much for sharing. The last book that I read was Finding Father Christmas by Robin Jones Gunn. God bless you.
I spent the past few days cooking and baking. Today, we ate leftovers, got some stuff done around the house and did some Christmas shopping. Currently reading a 3 in 1 Love Inspired historical book titled Once Upon a Thanksgiving and Married by Christmas by Linda Ford, Winnie Griggs and Karen Kirst.
Congrats the new release and your birthday. yesterday we had a rain event our town cope most of it. we had almost 2 inches early in the morning then around 4.30 the thunder, lightening, and hail started. went for about one and a half hours and we got from 4 – 6 inches in that time. way to much. I had a pond in the front yard. found out the garage flooded but I got of easy. some places were inundated with water. Its not that we are in a flood area it was the rain was so heavy there was no wehre for it to go. thankfully its been better today. I still have some flooring to get rid of in the garage but mostly things were in tubs etc. so a little tired to read but I plan to start Penny Zellers new book coming out early Dec next. the last one I read was True Blue Christmas by Susan Page Davis. (I am thankful that this house is higher up and held up well)
Happy belated birthday!
The last book I finished was Wildflower Falls by Denise Hunter. It was very good-maybe my new family series by her!
Happy Birthday, Tabitha. I’m currently reading The Spanish Bit. It’s an interesting deviation from my usual, although I do really like historical novels.
I’ve been reading a biography about Jack Hanna. Thanks!
Congratulations on your release!!
Happy Release Day! I’ve been eating way too much food and getting Christmas decorations up so I can enjoy them for as long as possible.
Congratulations, Tabitha, and Happy Birthday!
We’ve been quite busy! After eight weeks of bathroom repairs due to a leak, we celebrated our fiftieth anniversary, followed by Thanksgiving, and are currently hosting our Canadian family for a visit. Oh my! Curling up with one of your books would be the perfect way to unwind!
Seriously, I would love to win your book as I have enjoyed every book of yours that I have read.
Thank you for the opportunity!
Good luck to everyone!!
