Over the last few years, I’ve written so much that reading has sadly taken a backseat. I’ve snuck small moments to devour titles here and there of books I just couldn’t wait to read. But, by and large, I’ve let my To Be Read pile grow staggeringly tall.
One thing I’ve learned is that no matter how busy life gets, it keeps going. How kind it would be if people, tasks, and avenues of entertainment kindly said, “No worry. We’ll wait until you’ve got more free time.” As the new year begins, it’s clear that authors have neglected to stall their creative genius while I wait for more a more reading-friendly season to usher in.
After the release of my novel Say It’s For Good in February and a soon-to-be-announced fun project in March, I plan to enjoy a respite of sorts from writing. These glorious months will definitely be filled with reading! Even though I have plenty of books to choose from, I thought I’d highlight some of our own Inspy Romance authors who have titles releasing in January or February!

Happy New Year Teresa. I am reading Janet W. Ferguson’s Healing Skye. Since Valerie Comer was the author that introduced me to Inspy Romance and this Michigan rural gal is looking forward to her new series Farm Fresh Market. SW Michigan has lots of farmers and markets. A Sweet Christian Romance series I have been enjoying is You are on the Air with Radio Host personalities. Also looking forward to reading Carolyn Miller’s Hockey Romance series, since I am familiar with 4/ 6 cities. I am on Elizabeth Maddrey’s review team and enjoyed her upcoming release Postcards. Always enjoy a book with a unique premise or setting. Best wishes and Happy Reading.

2022 started off with a bang for me with reading!! I’m reading two books simultaneously, three if you count my Bible! One’s an ARC and the other is one I’m proofreading. Both are really good! My TBR stack is huge, probably out of control, but that’s ok! Both paperbacks and my Kindle. As my oldest sister says, she and I aren’t happy if we don’t have books waiting for us!

I’m currently reading an early copy of “Marrying Mr. Wrong” by Melissa Jagears (Jan. 18th release) for review. Then it’s whatever I’m in the mood for afterwards, lol!
One of my goals this year is to read what I have from my physical bookshelves because I have FAR too many languishing there for far too long. I’ll never get through them all, of course, but I really hope to make a big dent in them :-)
I really do want to read at least the third book from Carolyn Miller “Checked Impressions” because it sounds good from reading the book blurb on Amazon. I’m a huge romantic fan and this one sounds like it will fit the bill perfectly :-)
