I wrote a series about five siblings who inherited a beach house—with a catch!
That was in 2020 … and we all know what happened that year. Life was turbulent so I decided to do something different: I released all five books under a pen name. I did this mainly because I was experimenting—the stories were more trope-heavy than my other novels
But … I found it difficult to maintain two personas. Not sure why so many writers find this easy! I love my readers and simply found it difficult to be two people. Does that make sense?
I also wanted to add more inspirational content to these stories. So I pulled the novels from publication and added new scenes and recovered the series under my own name.
Beach Sunrise (Book 1, Beach House Romance series) re-releases tomorrow in my shop! This is a Fake Relationship Romance about a rookie lawyer who hatches a plan to solve her boss’s business woes—and her own troubles as well. But once their fake relationship is over, will they be able to untangle their hearts?
If you love an inspirational, fake marriage, beach romance, I hope you’ll check out Beach Sunrise. If you order it from me, you’ll save $1 off the cover price. (I expect to release the series on other retailers in May.)
Now tell me, what are your favorite tropes? The rest of the Beach House Romance series just might have what you’re looking for 😉.

I really like second chance and small towns.
Lilly says
I love “friends to lovers”, “marriage of convenience” and “enemies to friends to lovers” and all this with slow burn (except friends to lovers here I accept a sudden crush It can be cute “oh no! Why I suddenly feel this way about my friend?” ).
I also don’t care if the “enemies” are real enemies that hated each other or just semi-friendly rivals.
