Happy Easter!
This is my first Sunday with you all, and I’m excited to be here.
I saw these Easter lilies at the store the other day and had to get a picture. I’m not sure I’ve ever bought an Easter lily myself, but when I see them, I think of spending Easter at my grandparents’ house. I don’t know that my Grandma bought Easter lilies each year, but when she did, apparently it made quite the impression on me. Now whenever I see Easter lilies, I think about those huge family gatherings and smile.
My husband and I often spend a quiet Easter with just our little family of four. This year, however, we’re driving down to spend the afternoon with his parents, my brother, and his family. It’s going to be fun visiting with everyone and watching the cousins play together.
I hope you all have some wonderful plans for today as well. Meanwhile, may we all remember the humbling sacrifice and incredible miracle that this holiday reminds us of.

Hi Melanie! Happy Easter to you and all the Inspy Romance authors and readers from cold Michigan. The family will be together for Easter dinner of beef Rouladen, ham, cheesy potatoes, salad, veggies and a scrumptious Bavarian Cream raspberry roll. Grandkids and parents will look for their Easter baskets and gifts. Due to the cold and yesterday’s rain, we will not be having an Easter egg hunt. Will miss our youngest son, who lives out of town and has to work. Best wishes. enjoy your day celebrating with family and friends.

Happy Easter! I don’t know that I’ve ever had an Easter lily either but whenever I smell lilies or hyacinths I always think of Easter.

We got up for an Easter sunrise service this morning. It was foggy at our house, but when we climbed the hill for the service, the fog was all below us. The sun came up and it was beautiful! He is risen!
