I hope you are all having a good weekend so far. It seems like weather has been extreme in a lot of places. For us, we enjoyed highs in the 80s on Friday, then a high of 35’F on Saturday. Then today, we’re supposed to have a high of 78’F. If allergies weren’t enough to give everyone a headache, these extreme temperatures certainly did the trick. Thankfully, we haven’t had to deal with snow. I have a number of friends who were saddened to have their world once again dusted in white.
Because of the unusually cold weather, our son’s baseball game yesterday morning was pushed back to this evening. It’s also picture day, and I’m looking forward to seeing how they come out in a few weeks!
Whatever your weather is like, I hope you all have a magnificent Sunday!

Happy Sunday. Sounds like you are having the same as I am. Spring Break for the kids so we decided to spend the weekend at the beach. Only good day was Friday. Good thing the kids just appreciated being at the hotel and away from home so it worked out fine.
Paula Dye says
Hello! Sounds like our Florida weather! I pray everyone stays safe where ever they are!!
Melanie D Snitker says
I’m sorry that the weekend at the beach didn’t result in good weather, Colleen! But that’s great that the kids have been happy being at the hotel instead of home. Sometimes just getting away is all you really need!

Weather really has been crazy everywhere lately!

Hi Melanie and Happy Sunday! Last week was Spring Break and it snowed Wednesday and Friday in Michigan. This sunny Sunday morning it was a frigid 15 degrees. Feels more like January. This retiree, her grandkids and Shelties all have spring fever. Hope we will not have a 1989 spring, where it snowed the first weekend in May for our annual Blossom Parade. The trees, birds, squirrels and other wild life are living in a state of confusion. Mother Nature please get out of the freezer. Best wishes and send some warmth to the north. Congrats to all the winners.

That stinks it snowed during spring break – that’s no fun! I’ll bet you are all ready for real spring weather. Hopefully things will warm up very soon now.
Jackie Smith says
Weather here in GA is crazy, too…lol! In 80’s and then back to high 30’s; rain but so thankful it does wash away the pollen! I’ve been sneezing my head off!
But God is good!
Anitra Parmele says
Our weather has been a little uneven but for spring in South Florida that means temps plunging to the 60’s and rain falling on our spring breakers. Still laughing at your “realness” Enjoy your Sunday
Lori Smanski says

Melanie D Snitker says
Oh, that’s good the rain is at least washing some of that pollen away. Yes, God is good!
