Isn’t he gorgeous?
NOT!
This is a stock picture, but I had a relative of his hanging outside my front door this week. If you moved just right, you could see his beautiful web. He even caught and wrapped a fly. He moved on before the week ended, thankfully, but I didn’t mess with him. I’m sure he was storing up for the winter. :)
I am happy to say the remainder of the week was quiet. I rested a lot as I haven’t been feeling 100%. I also edited and turned in a novella for a Christmas boxed set, releasing in November (please head to my website, www.gingersolomon.com, and click on the books tab for more information).
I have another book to edit and release this year, though it may be early 2018 before that happens, because I also have to design and create the cover. I have several projects on my list to finish out 2017 and start 2018. I’d like to get at least one more book released this year. My goal was eight for 2017, and I’m going to fall short of that by a lot, but without the goal, I wouldn’t have released the ones I did. As I’ve shared before, it’s been a hard writing year for me. I do think, however, that I have finally turned a corner. Praise God!!!
And because I don’t want to leave you with the vision of spiders (I’m kind like that)… here’s a smile or two to brighten your day.

Hi Ginger:) I was ironing this morning, only to look over and see a spider climb down my arm- lots of deep breathing to keep from freaking out in front of my kids (and freaking them out!) I managed to keep the iron on the ironing board, and ‘dealt with’ the spider, then it was a quick race down to my bedroom, shut the door and scream quietly!
Looking forward to your next books- any more Scottish Castles coming soon?
Blessings:)

I’ve had several spider bites, and they take a long time to heal. I am so glad that God’s mercies are new every morning! I love that verse, especially when I’ve had a hard day the day before. Have a restful and blessed Sunday!

Spiders are scary! Looks like a great week lined up here!!
Have a blessed Sunday.
Lori Smanski says
well that spider is kinda pretty. I love how God put so much creativity into all the insect kingdom. I mean he could have made them simple and not much to look at. My daughter in law loves spiders, my son not so much. LOL it can get interesting at times, LOL I do pray you are feeling better soon. Congratulations on goals succeeded. You are right, sometimes if we don’t set the goals high, we don’t accomplish as much as we would like to.
Ginger Solomon says
*shudder* I can imagine your predicament, well, except for the ironing. I hate that chore and will avoid it at ALL costs. I’d rather kill spiders. ;)
I hope to have at least two more books in that series. One is already written and awaiting editing and a cover (as mentioned above). I don’t even have an idea for the third yet, so it will be at least mid-2018 before the third releases. Of course, I can’t advertise them HERE because they are not CCR, so make sure to either sign up for my blog notices or my newsletter (or both).
Blessings back to you…

I love that verse as well, Becky. I need those NEW mercies because most days I think I used His supply for me and maybe some of the reserve. :)

Every week is a great week here, Jackie. ;) Spiders look scary, but most are harmless (to us).
Ginger Solomon says
I do love to look at from God’s creatures — from a distance. I find a lot of what He designed interesting to look at – except mosquitos. I don’t think I’ll ever understand that choice. I’m not real fond of mice either (’tis the season for our mice problems), but I understand why they were created. I enjoy watching our neighborhood hawk family hunt.
Thanks for the prayers. Have a great week.
