Happy Sunday! When you’re reading this, I’ll be far from my computer and any semblance of internet, so I hope my fellow Inspy Romance authors pitch in and answer any questions! My hubby scored an extra week week off work and we started out on a road trip south through Idaho yesterday. We’ll be headed to Reno, Nevada, in a couple of days then over to northern California and up the Oregon coast. Some of it is definitely research for two upcoming stories, but some of it is just for fun, as well.

That sounds like a fun way to spend a fall afternoon, Wemble–watching cockatoos. The best we get are blue jays or barn swallows. :)
I don’t know about the western coast, but I know the color around here will be disappointing this year. There hasn’t been enough rain. The leaves are dying without changing into the beautiful hues of autumn. :(
I think I envy Val a little–though I think they’re camping, so it’s really only a little. :) I’m not much of a camper.
I, too, am anticipating the books to come from this trip. Valerie is such a great writer. I just love the down-home atmosphere that she creates.
