Good morning!
Apparently we had a little hiccup this morning – these things happen to the best of us, right :) So I’m jumping in to say “Happy Sunday” to all of you. Hopefully you’re all having a delightful Sunday. Mine is looking up now that the coffee is ready and my kids are actually putting their clothes ON their bodies instead of running around with their pants on their heads and pretending they’re giant squid. (Please tell me this is not just something that happens in my house. Please.)

Thanks, Elizabeth! My children were never giant squid. And my granddaughters are far more likely to be merkittens than squid. Just sayin’ ;)
Elizabeth Maddrey says
Merkittens works :)

Happy Sunday everyone! I was not able to attend church today, but, will be doing my Bible Study at home. Have a blessed day! :-)
Elizabeth Maddrey says
Thanks, Melissa! Hope you have a great day!
Autumn Macarthur says
LOL, am I wrong to sit here chuckling at the image of your home invaded by giant squid? Or merkittens!
Elizabeth Maddrey says
Nope. It’s not wrong at all. :)
Tammy Francis says
I love Polyanna. There are many lessons we can learn from being thankful, and encouraging others..
Jill Weatherholt says
I think you might be alone with that one, Elizabeth. :) Happy Sunday!
Elizabeth Maddrey says
Indeed!
Elizabeth Maddrey says
Ah well. I do love my squids :)
Sally Shupe says
Happy Sunday!! Elizabeth, you are not alone. My son liked to pretend he was spiderman and climb the walls. Jill!! Congratulations!! Can’t wait to read your story!!
Elizabeth Maddrey says
Ha! Mine do that too …My oldest can get down the whole hall without touching the floor.
Diana says
My daycare children are monkeys, cats and dogs. Probably some other things I’m forgetting now. My son used to climb the walls. He’s a senior computer programmer now and has only done that at a climbing course more recently☺! I was asked to write my testimony today by a visiting missionary . She said it could be short . I’m not a writer, so that’s a little intimidating. She said it would help the kids she’s ministring to, so that’s encouraging and motivating.
Elizabeth Maddrey says
That’s exciting! You’ll do great I’m sure :)

Happy SONday Inspy Romance!!
I literally laughed out loud (and if I had coffee, I would have spewed it out) with your kid squid comment!!!! I don’t remember my kids doing silly things like this, but then again that was many years ago now (mine are 24 & 19 respectfully). I mean, I’m sure they did, but my memory isn’t what it used to be either…HA!! I CAN, however, see my almost 3yr old grand-girl doing something as silly as this! She has quite the imagination :-) I kind of miss those silly days where we don’t have to take life so seriously!
Talking about squid, funny thing really, one of the authors I love to pieces (ok there’s not one that I don’t) who lives up Seattle way posted a picture from the Pikes Place market. There’s a shop there that sells fresh seafood & she took a picture of a squid on ice that they were selling! I thought that was pretty funny :-) You should have seen all the differing comments on that one…HA!
Happy (almost) February…can you believe it?? I sure can’t!
Sally Shupe says
Haha! They’re like little spider monkeys.
