Happy Sunday!
Apparently we had a little glitch, as can happen every now and then, so I hope you’ll pardon my recycled header image. (I do love those boots though!)
Hope you all had a lovely week and are looking forward to being well and truly on your way to summer. (At least that’s what the temperatures around here are telling me — we’re looking at highs in the mid-90s all week. I’m sure the humidity is going to come along for a party as well.) If you have better temperatures on tap for the week, then know at least one person is jealous.
If you’ve won a prize and haven’t yet been contacted, send us an email.

Congrats to all the winners! Thanks for your post Elizabeth. Summer has definitely hit Michigan and the Midwest with a vengeance – temperatures for the next few days in the 90s. After a very wet and rainy March and April, we have not had any significant rain in over 2 weeks. Not good as some farmers just got their crops coming up. Also affects fruits and vegetables. Strawberries are small and not as sweet this year! Praying for rain! Happy Sunday and looking forward to upcoming releases.

I think we are supposed to be in the 70’s this week, so a good week here. Congrats to all the winners and thank you so much!

I grew up in Illinois so I definitely know what heat & humidity is! This is one of the reasons I moved to the West Coast (well, to marry my husband too) years ago. We don’t get that type of heat here and I love it…it’s so mild! I don’t mean to make you jealous at all.
So, this was the last Sunday for our pastor and his wife! They put in 52 years of ministry and they are retiring. They will also be moving down to Southern Oregon to be close to their kids and grand-kids, when you’re both almost 80 yrs old, you deserve to live out the rest of life that God gives you surrounded by family! It’s bittersweet for our church as he’s one of the most loving and caring pastor’s I’ve had the privilege of knowing. I’m going to miss this sweet couple. So if you think about us, please pray that God will guide a new Pastor to our congregation….the one He has chosen for us :-) Lots of changes on the horizon and I’m one to struggle with change!
Blessed SONday everyone! Looking forward to another great week.
P.S. I’ve NEVER had to sign in to leave a comment! This time it would not allow me to comment unless I signed into one of the accounts listed (WordPress, Twitter, Facebook, etc)…weird!

52 years! That’s incredible. I hope you all have a lively celebration.
And weird about signing in …I’ll poke around and see if I can see any reason for that.

It certainly feels like summer here in South Carolina . Somehow I forget from year-to-year how warm it really gets!
