It’s almost here! Valentine’s Day.
Love it or hate it, Valentine’s Day is the day when the world stop to celebrate romantic love. Florists have their busiest trading day for the year, boxes of chocolates fly off the shelves in the stores, and marriage proposals are planned and executed.
At Inspy Romance we launch our annual Birthday Bash Giveaway on Valentine’s Day. To celebrate our fourth birthday (can you believe we’re already four years old?) we have a bunch of fabulous prize packages including books and other goodies.
Being an Aussie, I’m especially excited about our International Bundle that includes 6 print books! Our international reading friends have learned not to get too excited about a print book giveaway until they check the fine print. Many paperback giveaways are limited to US readers, primarily due to the cost of international postage.
Thank you to the Inspy Romance authors who have provided books for the International Bundle. Please share the giveaway with your international friends who read contemporary Christian romance so they won’t miss out on entering our Birthday Bash.
Make sure you stop by the blog on Wednesday when we’ll be officially launching our big Birthday Bash.
If you’re a winner, you should have received an email from the author in charge of the giveaway. If not, please email us at

Hi Narelle, this Aussie thinks the International Bundle is pretty cool too:) We attended a wedding yesterday, then I spent today shopping and catching up on home work before the work week resumes.
I have to confess to not really being a Valentine’s Day participant, so will celebrate the inspyromance 4th birthday-how exciting! I enjoy having a place to go to celebrate great books, thanks for your contribution to making this blog happen.
I have to ask, how is your writing going?
Blessings:)
Renate says
Hi Narelle and our international authors and readers! Looking forward to the I spy Romance Birthday Bash. Reading the blog each morning delights this retiree. As a German immigrant, my mom embraced Valentine’s Day. As kids, my brother and I always received a card and a gift – usually a new pair of summer pajamas. Back in my day – girls wore “baby doll” jammies. As an Oma to 4 grandkids, I carry on the tradition and give my kids and grandkids cards and a gift. Precious memories.
Still snowing in SW Michigan. I am so over winter with its cold, snow, bad road conditions, slush, and gloomy overcast weather so near Lake Michigan. In the last few days we received over 15 inches of snow (38cm). Would love to visit Australia. Best wishes. Happy writing. Happy Valentine’s Day. Sending chocolate Hugs and Kisses your way!

Happy Valentine’s and Birthday week! So exciting that you’ve been going for 4 years. Times flies, doesn’t it?!
Jackie Smith says
Wow, looks like exciting days ahead for Inspy! I’ll be here!
Margaret Nelson says
Renate, I wish Michigan would send California some of your snow! It’s been in the 80’s this past week!
My mom was big on Valentine’s Day too, and now my aunt (who lives next door to me) is big on it too, so I’ve learned I’d better have some candy and a card for her :-)
Jill Weatherholt says
Congratulations on your fourth year, ladies! So much to celebrate. Happy Valentine’s Day!
Wemble says
Hi Renate, sounds like you would enjoy some Aussie sunshine. I enjoy learning about how things are in your ‘mitten’ state- sounds like that title is very appropriate about now. Blessings to you :)
Narelle Atkins says
Hi Wemble, The International Bundle is great for our international reader friends. I’m glad you’ve enjoyed a fun and relaxing weekend. :) Our Birthday Bash is timed with Valentine’s Day as a double celebration, but we’re happy if you prefer to focus on the birthday part. :) My writing is going slowly at present, mainly due to my son’s transition to the new school not being an easy or stress-free process. Stress kills my creativity, but I’ll get back on track this week. Prayers appreciated. I’m getting closer to finishing my novella in the Tuscany series. During 2018 I’ll re-release the Heartsong backlist. Thanks for asking. Blessings :)
Becky Smith says
Congratulations on 4 years!! How is that possible! It’s always fun to stop by and read each morning! Thank you!!
Narelle Atkins says
Hi Renate, What a lovely tradition to continue with your own children and grandchildren. It’s fascinating how the meaning and celebration of Valentine’s Day varies in different countries and cultures. Wow, that’s a lot of snow! It would be unusual for you to come across that much snow anywhere in Australia, even in winter. I hope you’ll have a chance to visit, and I should share something Aussie in one of my Sunday posts this month! Appreciate the good wishes and hugs and chocolate. Happy Valentine’s Day. :)
Narelle Atkins says
Hi Missy, Thank you and Happy Valentine’s. Those four years have been a lot of fun, and have definitely flown by fast! :)
Narelle Atkins says
Hi Jackie, Yes, there are lots of exciting things happening at Inspy Romance over the coming weeks! We’re glad you’re joining us for our birthday celebrations. :)
Narelle Atkins says
Hi Margaret, As an Aussie we’re used to having major bushfires during summer from tine to time. I was stunned and saddened to see the sheer size of the fires you faced in California during winter. Your temperatures are equivalent to my summer temperatures this week in Australia. Enjoy your Valentine’s celebrations, and I hope you’ll get some relief from the hot weather soon. :)
Narelle Atkins says
Hi Jill, Thank you and yes, we have much to celebrate. Ginger will launch our giveaway and birthday celebrations on Wednesday. Happy Valentine’s Day :)
Narelle Atkins says
Hi Becky, Thank you, and I’m also wondering where those 4 years have gone! We appreciate you stopping by and starting your morning with us. :)
Narelle Atkins says
Wemble, yes, if only we could send some of our Aussie sunshine to Renate! :)
Trixi says

Hi Trixi, this year is flying by way too fast! How can it almost be mid-February? I’m glad to hear you’re ready to party with us! :)
