It’s back-to-school week! Plus I have a writer friend coming in town! She’s not a contemporary romance author, but is one of my very best friends – and not just out of my writer friends, in general. This week, we’re talking books! Our manuscripts, books we’ve read. Plus I get to cuddle her nearly six-month-old little girl! We’re going to Lambert’s Cafe on Sunday – have you been there? They throw your rolls at you. Yes, the cafe has made more than one appearance in my manuscripts. Because when you have a place locally that serves gizzards, servers who plop fried okra on a paper towel on your plate, has license plates for decor, and throws food? Yeah – it’s gotta show up!
I also happen to know that InspyRomancer Laurie Tomlinson is a big fan! When she and Kathleen Y’Barbo were in town, we talked about going – but the wait was too long :(.
