Welcome to my second Sunday Edition sharing photos of snowy southeastern British Columbia, Canada. These photos were taken other years, since I had so many lovely ones and I wasn’t sure what I might be able to capture this year. We did have a very nice snowfall Wednesday this week, though, of about four or five inches. And then it rained, and froze, and rained some more, and most of it is gone.
We need snow! Yes, I love winter.

Hi Valerie, thanks for sharing more photos. We are enjoying warm summer days- it is crazy to think that in the Northern Hemisphere it is snowing (or almost snowing!!) Here we have Snow Gums that get covered in snow in winter- it is interesting seeing differences:)
Blessings:)

Hi Valerie. Thanks for sharing your wintery scenes. We finally received some snow in SW Michigan yesterday and winds, which produced some intriguing sand formations, which our local talented photographer Joshua Nowicki posted on his Facebook page.
We are experiencing a mild winter – above normal temperatures and below normal snow fall. Of course we had an extremely rainy spring, summer, and fall – creeks and rivers are up to their banks. Best wishes.

Ah, thank you, Valerie for sharing the snowy photos! To me snow makes everything so fresh and clean and sparkly!

And I had to look up snow gums! A member of the Eucalyptus family, right? Enjoy your summer heat :D

Winter sand sculptures!!! Sounds lovely (if cold). We’re a bit mild here, too, but are expecting a lot of precipitation. In the valleys, that will mean a lot of rain/snow/rain and slushy roads. The passes will be snowy – always are. Guess we’ll see what actually comes!

Yes, I’m thankful God chose to make snow WHITE in this time of year of short, sometimes dreary, days. Think if it started out gray, how depressing winter would be! But, no. It’s white. And, yes, sparkles under the right conditions. A fresh start.

Good morning! I would have loved to wake up to snow. Instead we have been having rain the last couple of days and its all muddy. However, I cant complain, rain is needed for the trees and spring flowers.
Valerie Comer says
Snow is so much prettier, isn’t it! And cleaner. But rain waters the earth just as well.
