Hey, y’all. Ginger here. Your friendly inspyromance Sunday Edition admin for the month of April. I hope y’all enjoyed the giveaway. It was such fun to get notes from the winners. I love, love, love being about to bless others with gifts, and it’s even more fun when I don’t have to pay for most of them. :)
Probably some of you are still dealing with snow, and those in the Southern Hemisphere are just entering into fall, but here in the US south, it’s POLLEN SEASON. I took my daughter’s dog into our pasture recently, and she ran around with her nose to the ground. When she returned to me, it was sprinkled with yellow bits. I’ve also been feeling the effects of said pollen. Or it could be the drywall/grout dust from our bathroom shower renovation. Either way I’ve been congested for quite a number of days. Oh well, ’tis the season. LOL My bathroom will be done in the next ten days or so, and the pollen will eventually fade. I plan to enjoy the flowers while they last, though.
Now on to this week’s announcements.

Hi Ginger, how exciting that your bathroom renovations are coming along:)
Pollen and dust- not a great combination for hay fever at all! We are enjoying the Autumn weather- beautiful warm days, but the nights are getting cooler. Our grape vine is beginning to change colour as are the deciduous trees around us. It is still very dry so we are praying for some good rain.
Blessings:)

Hi Ginger! Yesterday was a beautiful day in Michigan – sunny with temperatures in the sixties. This morning almost fifty. The maple trees are starting to bud, which is great for gathering maple syrup. Daffodils are feeling the warmth. Birds (robins, blue jays, cardinal, and doves) and squirrels are rejoicing. A huge flock of wild turkeys are back at the neighbors pond near our county creek. Yesterday a large flock of cranes flew over the house – very unusually for where we live. Spring has sprung. Definitely the beginning of pollen season. Best wishes.

Hi Ginger! I feel for you with the pollen and dust! Hopefully your project will be done soon. Yes, Spring is here in Oklahoma with rain, sunshine, blooming plants & trees, and unpredictable weather. I really enjoy being a part of this group and reading your thoughts. Blessing for a great week.
Valerie Comer says
Our last snowfall was March 12. Not only has it all melted since then, our crocuses are peeking up through the lawn. A few years ago in October, we broadcast a bunch of bulbs into our yard and dug them in where they landed. The little pops of yellow, light purple, and dark purple are fun against the still mostly-dead grass. Spring is here!
Jackie Smith says
Ginger, I can relate to pollen issues….yuck….it has been very high and worst since 2013 (GA). Oh well,I am staying in more and reading more!
Natalya Lakhno says
Pollen…grrr
Thank you for the update! Congratulations to the winners!
Blessings!
Lori Smanski says
Oh goodness, I hear you about the pollen. I have had troubles all winter. Not really sure why. In fact our cat has had allergy problems also. So exciting about your bathroom. We had a bathroom renovation a year ago. Woohoo. Our second bathroom had a 3×3 shower and we could stand in one place and by turning around do what ever we came in for. Now our shower is built into the garage 4×4 (so much more room. Enjoy your bathroom.
Ginger Solomon says
Sounds delightful, Wemble. I love fall and spring (despite the pollen).
Ginger Solomon says
Our trees have been out since late February. We seem to get warm weather sooner than we have in the past, though we’ve also gotten a few frosts/freezes after that bout of warm weather. It was a very mild winter for us.
Ginger Solomon says
We’re glad you’re with us, Bernice. They (the tilers) plan to be done by Friday, but it may be Saturday. It’s one of those work and wait projects. Work for a while, wait for it to set, work again. :)
Lelia (Lucy) Reynolds says
Spring has sprung in WV and the pollen count is fairly high. My daffodils and hyacinths are blooming. Thank you for sharing. Blessings
Ginger Solomon says
Bulbs in the yard. Ha. We’ve already cut grass twice. :) But I bet it’s beautiful.
Ginger Solomon says
I rarely watch the news, so I don’t know how high it is, but I’m definitely feeling it. I’m usually not an allergy sufferer, so I really feel for those who are. And I’ll gladly deal with the congestion (though today, I feel like a truck ran over me) to be able to have my windows open. :)
Ginger Solomon says
Exactly, Natalya. :)
Ginger Solomon says
Thanks, Lori. Sadly, it wasn’t for aesthetics that we’re redoing. A leak prompted the change. :( Although, I will enjoy not have beige tiles in my shower. :)
Ginger Solomon says
I love hyacinths (daffodils too).
Betty says
Congratulations to all the winners!
It is warm in Oklahoma, and the last of the trees, the oaks, finally have leaves.
SARAH TAYLOR says

Ginger Solomon says
