Today is the second Sunday of Advent – the Sunday of Peace.
And everything I’ve taught you is so that the peace which is in me will be in you and will give you great confidence as you rest in me. For in this unbelieving world you will experience trouble and sorrows, but you must be courageous, for I have conquered the world! (John 16:33 The Passion Translation)
Today I’d like you to meet Janet Ferguson’s cat. Janet says, “White Kitty only likes me. She hides from most everyone else. She used to belong to my mother. She’s fat and a really talky cat. Loud too!”

White Kitty is so adorable. My Libby is also a one person people. She is scared of her own shadow. Henry tolerates people but doesn’t come to visit with others.
I use to have a cat called Touser he was black and white and also a one person cat. While he tolerated others and would let mum feed him I was his mistress. When I went to school he would follow me to the front gate and mum wouldn’t see him again for the day. Then when it was time for me to come home he would be at the gate waiting for me.
I love seeing all your pets.
Peace is something I am truly in need of this coming year!
Love seeing the pets! No pets here since our last dog, border collie, died a year ago. We miss him.
Me too, Paula!
Blessings to all on this Second Sunday of Advent.
What a lovely story!
John 14:27 (NIV): 27 “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”
We need to CLING to His peace!
I’ve enjoyed the pet pix, too! More to come over the next few weeks :D
Peace to you and yours, Renate.
Amen!!
White Kitty are Remy are both adorable! We have two kitties and each one has picked a different favorite person. So thankful that God allows us to care for our cute little furry friends.
Adorable pets. My cat is named Trouble because she likes getting into Trouble. 😂
Indeed, they are a treasure. :)
Funny – no one ever calls their cat Innocence! I wonder why?!?!?
Love the pet pics!! I’m partial to cats; however, I like dogs, too, just don’t want one! I’d love to have a cat, but can’t during this season of my life.
I’m a cat person and hubby is a dog person, so we have two cats and one (rather large) dog. It works for us!
I enjoyed “meeting” Janet’s pets!
Me, too!
I love seeing pictures of other peoples pets! We had a cat that was rather talkative too, almost like she could understand a word we said & answered us :-) It was adorable unless it happened at 3 am….lol!
Oh yes. Coonie sometimes has things to say in the middle of the night, especially full-moon nights, and I am not super patient about it LOL.
