Today is the fourth Sunday of Advent – the Sunday of Joy.
You direct me on a path that leads to a beautiful life. As I walk with You, the pleasures are never-ending, and I know true joy and contentment. (Acts 2:28 The Voice)
Today I’d like you to meet Shannon Taylor Vannatter’s cat. She says, “This is Charcoal. He turned 13 this past summer. He’s a cuddler and loves to sit in my lap. If I don’t pay him enough attention, he bites me. When he wants anything – food, shredded cheese, outside, or back in – he meows very loudly until you do whatever he demands.”

I love seeing all your precious pets! So sorry for the ones you have passed, they are truly family members!
What a precious kitty. My cat is named Trouble appropriately. Merry Christmas 🎄🎁
I’ve enjoyed seeing the furry creatures in our authors’ homes, too!
Ha, yes, Trouble is a not-uncommon name for a cat! LOL
Enjoyed the PETS pictures! Merry Christmas to all! Love The Voice version of the scripture.
Oh, the pics of the animals are precious! I love cats, like dogs, and tolerate other pets!! Lol!! One of my nephews has a bearded dragon. Two of them used to have a snake. I’m not crazy about the bearded dragon, and definitely not about snakes!
Snakes = a hard NO from me. I told my Junior High age son if he brought a snake into the house as a pet, his mother would move out. Period. He believed me. Now his 7yo daughter loves snakes (strange child). I told them both that would be the fastest way to make sure Grandma never came to visit, and they live next door! My son laughed but he believes me. As he should.
Merry Christmas! I’m not sure which I love more, The Voice, or the Passion Translation! So refreshing.
I agree!!! We didn’t visit while the boys had the snake, either!! At least the bearded dragon stays in her cage!! She doesn’t try to get out, either. The only time she moves kinda fast is when they feed her crickets and worms. I’m still not crazy about her, either, though!
I **think** I could handle a bearded dragon, but I haven’t been asked to put it to the test…
My cat Spooly loves to lay on our tree skirt=) I finally started filling it up with packages on Friday and she wasn’t to happy with me.
That should say my cat Spooky!
Spooly/Spooky…. just like my girls! I have to tag the gifts I wrapped this afternoon so they can take over the cat place under the tree…
I have several pets in pet heaven. I keep saying I’m done, but then another one finds my heart.
I understand that name. Charcoal is on his 14th life at least.
Merry Christmas, Jackie.
Right now I’m SO OVER pet hair in everything! Our current trio is aging and I feel like I won’t mind a breakup with my vacuum cleaner at that time, but… I doubt the empty will last long. It never has before!
No reptiles for me. We had a rabbit for a short time when our son was little. Cleaning the cage was an endless chore.
I have another tree where the gifts go. He thinks this one is his.
My house is too small for more than one tree, and I’m not happy about sharing this one!
Thanks for posting the pet pics, Valerie I’ve enjoyed them. Deb’s pets are sweet too. Maybe her Missy is running and playing with my Prissy, Oscar, Zach, and Abby in doggie heaven.
It’s been a fun get-to-know-you this month, I think!
