I don’t know about where you live, but here in Alabama, it’s been raining. A lot. Last weekend we had several inches, and on Thursday and Friday of this week, we received another two or three inches. Needless to say, it’s sloppy wet outside. But, thankfully, I don’t have anything to do in the yard.
Though, I must admit, getting back into the swing of things after the holidays has been like slogging through a swamp. It’s taken me until today (Saturday) to get myself refocused.
I’m praying 2020 has started off wonderfully for you, and if it hasn’t, I pray it only goes up from here.
And do keep our Australian friends in your prayers as they continue to deal with the wild fires.

We had a lot of rain on Thursday or Friday, can’t remember which. Anyway it came down so fast and furious for a short time that it caused some major flooding issues=(
Trudy says
Congratulations to the winners!! FL has had quite a bit of rain for the past week, too, definitely not living up to being the Sunshine State!! However, I’d much rather have all the rain and have an abundance than to have drought conditions and wildfires! Been there, done that, and hope not to do it again any time soon!! Praying for Australia!!!

Drought conditions are no fun. Yes, I’d much rather have a bit of rain.

I am behind been a bit out of it. While I am not impacted by the fires I know people who are impacted, have lost life stock, out buildings etc. Friends who are dealing with the suffocating smoke, etc. We need rain. I know there is some light rain in some of the fire areas but we need more. Even in areas where the fire threat isn’t as big we need rain. We haven’t had a more than a trace of rain since Nov 2 and that was about a quarter of an inch.
Thanks for all the support for my country and please keep us in your prayers. Many of us who are not directly affected have similar to survivors guilt. We are glad we are not affected and can go on with out lives but feel guilty for feeling glad we are safe and unaffected if this makes sense. Talking with others they have the same feeling. Its emotionally draining and the support from people all over the world is also extremely overwhelming.
Valerie Comer says
Makes total sense! Take care.
