After 24 hours at home in mid-August to do laundry, restock the travel trailer, and water the garden, we headed out again. This time we picked up our two oldest grandgirls for a week of waterfall adventures in Wells Gray Provincial Park. It’s a long drive from where we live, but we had a full week, and the girls are excellent travelers and just plain fun to be with. We stopped beside this lovely little lake on our way north and again on our way south a few days later.

BC has so many beautiful places to explore. I only saw a few areas, Vancouver, Sunshine Coast, Pemberton and Whistler But I loved the area and the mountains.
Valerie Comer says
BC is very big with a lot of biodiversity! We have a long coastline and plenty of mountains. We also have areas of true desert, vast plateaus, orchards, vineyards, grainfields, and more. You’ve seen some of my favorite places, Jenny!
The only thing that would make our part of BC better would be ocean proximity, but then there’d be too many people here as well. We didn’t get an ocean visit in 2020, and we really missed it. Hopefully in 2021!

BC is truly beautiful. A number of years ago, our family of 6 (4 children) flew to Calgary and then we rented a van and did a driving tour through Alberta, BC and all the way through to Vancouver Island. What a truly beautiful trip! We now have a son and his family living on Vancouver Island and get to explore different areas each time we visit. Thanks for sharing your pictures and your story, Valerie. God bless you.

Our son and his wife lived in Victoria for six years while they attended UVic. I love having them (and their daughter) living next door, but I do miss the excuse to get out to the Island a few times a year!
