I’m glad to be back with you for December! Advent and Christmas are such fantastic times of the year — especially when we really take the time to stop and remember the significance of this season.
I know for me, 2020 being what it’s been, I’m definitely more focused than usual on finding things to be grateful for. There have been blessings this year, even in the midst of Covid, and the one that will always top the list is that Jesus came to earth, born as a baby, so that He could die on the cross for my sin.
What wonderous and amazing love.

Thanks, Renate!
Will the Story Chats always be so long? It’s hard for me to take an hour to focus on a conversation.
No, we’re aiming at a half hour for each episode. The next one is about 27 minutes. The week after next is a tad longer (around 40) — but we really are trying to zero in at that 30 minute mark.
Will the StoryChats always follow with a reminder here? I will definitely go check it out. Sounds fun! Thanks.
Yes, that’s the plan! :) I hope you enjoy it (and this first episode is a tad long, but like I said to Lila above, we are aiming at 30 minutes.
I’ve never listened to a podcast in my life…lol! But I am definitely going to check StroryChats out.
I can’t believe another year has almost passed us by, and what a year it has been! It’s been harder for me to find the positive lately, to be honest. Especially when this thing drags on & on. I’m glad I have my husband who is such an encourager & helps me through, second to God, he’s my rock.
Happy SUNday everyone! Glad to have you back for December Elizabeth!
I am new to listening to podcasts myself :)
And yes, it is hard this year for sure. I’m making a constant effort to look for the positive myself.
Oh, wow, what a nice bright spot! I honestly don’t know if I’ve heard from Sally or not! My Mom has been in the hospital since Dec 1, and I finally decided today to read this for the first time since Monday, and at the same time looking at emails. I’d appreciate the prayers of everyone at Inspy as we are trying figure out next steps.
I’ve been following on FB the saga with your poor mom. Praying for sure!
Sally has reached out, so it’s in that email backlog ;) When you reply, it may take her a couple of days as they are starting some busy days at home. Hang in there.
Father, we praise You for Your love for us, expressed in the gift of Your Son, by the power of the Holy Spirit. Thank You for Your mercy and grace that we celebrate during this season. We lift up Trudy and her mom now for Your special mercy in the midst of their trials. Please grant them comfort, wisdom and courage. May Your power be seen in unmistakable ways and may You receive glory and praise. We ask these things in Jesus holy name, Amen.
2020 is almost over. Yes, we can all find things to be thankful for – our daily food alone is a real blessing that many people around the world don’t have, our homes, our loved ones and Praise God, Jesus, who came as our Saviour. Can you just imagine how difficulty Covid life would me, without all of the above. Yes, I want to see more of my family in 2021, I pray I will see more of them, but I will still be thankful for all we have, and have technology to keep in touch with so many people. Blessings to all, Sandra
