To wrap up our January theme of “newness,” I wanted to remind us all that we are new creations in Jesus! The old has gone, and everything is new. This photo in my kitchen window of lovely tulips against a snowy day are a good reminder of that beautiful newness.

Praise God for new beginnings! I know there’s a lot of good that will come from my season of mourning, and this reminder today is very appropriate as we start a new month tomorrow. Love your tulips!!
Valerie Comer says
I loved those tulips, too! That’s from a couple of years ago. I should go buy another bunch!
Deb Galloway says

I love the scripture you shared Valerie! It reminds me that Christ made me new when I first turned my life over to Him & He continues that work everyday. What a beautiful picture :-)
Can you believe it will be a new month tomorrow? And a little closer to Spring, my favorite season because I love seeing the first flowers pop out of the ground. Daffodils, purple crocus, Irises and of course, tulips! Another reminder of newness out of the old dreary wintry ground.
Happy Sunday everyone!
P.S. I would like to ask for prayer for my husband who’s having surgery to correct a hernia early Wednesday morning. I won’t be able to stay in the hospital waiting room due to the virus, so it’s a bit stressful. Thank you so much!
Valerie Comer says
Praying for hubby and you, Trixi!
Patty says
Daffodils are usually the first sign of springs arrival here in the south.
Valerie Comer says
They are way ahead of tulips here, too! These blooms are from a greenhouse.
Alicia Haney says
Hi, your photo of the tulips by the window is Beautiful ! I love new beginnings and I love it when the bulbs start sprouting up and getting ready for a beautiful bloom after winter. I love it when all the plants start coming out from being dormant. New beginnings are Good! Have a great week and stay safe. God Bless you and your family.

What lovely tulips! We don’t usually find them in the stores until Easter. The color sure would be nice about now. ❤️

That was in January a couple of years ago! These days I am doing grocery pickup, but I’m thinking I should go in one of these days to see what there is for flowers…

Valerie Comer says
It was a pretty fun episode to record LOL. I hope you enjoy it.
Sandra says
Wow, those tulips are an amazing colour. I mostly only see yellow ones. They sure look great against the background of snow. I believe it will be a long time before ours peek their little heads out of the ground.
They are a great reminder of how we are always new in Christ. We know each time we ask, He will wash us as white as snow once again. What a blessing!
Valerie Comer says
Hey Sandra! These are hothouse tulips – sure not seeing anything growing here outside at this time of year! I thought the pink ones were extra pretty, too.
