Do you celebrate St. Patrick’s Day?
We don’t do a lot here, but we do indulge in corned beef and cabbage. It’s a big hit with everyone in my family, and I never remember to make enough to have leftovers, which is sad. Nothing better than leftover corned beef and cabbage!

Don’t really celebrate St Pats day here. Although I do have Irish ancestors. Mum always wondered why her father was called William Patrick when he was Scottish. Thanks to my cousin who was researching the family tree and found out Pop’s parents fled Ireland for Scotland during the Potato famine and had a couple of babies and after about 5 years emigrated to Australia.
THANK YOU!!!
It’s fun to see how people celebrate St Patrick’s Day.
Hi Elizabeth! A special thank you to all the talented and inspiring Inspy Romance authors. Your dedication to this blog and your generosity is appreciated by your dedication to writing and to your readers. Thank you to all the authors of Bundle 7.
Even though born in Germany, my DNA testing showed I am 10% Irish. I presume through my maternal grandmother, who may have ancestry in the British Isles. As a World Language teacher and even as a child, I am intrigued by other cultures, traditions and languages. I always wear something green on St. Patrick’s Day. This year my first grade granddaughter in her Virtual Classroom designed a leprechaun house and wrote a story. Having an expired box of Lucky Charm cereal, we did Lucky Charm marshmallow math. We read Berenstain Bears’ St. Patrick’s Day book.
Always enjoy rereading your book Kinsale Kisses with the great description of kissing the Blarney Stone. Best wishes and Happy Sunday and Happy Spring.
Oh very cool. I love family history stories like that. Hubby’s maternal grandfather was Irish, my family has a hoop of Scots-Irish, but none who are just Irish.
You’re so welcome! Enjoy all your new books.
Sounds like your house is the place to be on St. Pat’s! How fun! (And I’m so glad you enjoy Kinsale Kisses :) )
My Nana always insisted that we wear orange with our green, as we have never been Catholic. I used to try to tell her no one cares about that anymore and it was just for fun, but she was adamant enough that she made us a pin to wear that had both colors.
How wonderful for all the winners, the authors and everyone who posts so they have the anticipation of being a winner. We don’t celebrate St Patrick’s Day and I confess that cabbage isn’t my favourite.
Cabbage can be tricky – I’ll admit I wouldn’t want to eat it every day!
Congratulations to all of the winners! I really don’t celebrate St Patrick’s Day. I remembered this year that it was the 17th, and since I’d be out running errands, I wore my only green shirt. Most of the time, I don’t remember!!
Congrats to all the Birthday Bash winners!!!!!
I actually remembered it was St Patrick’s just before starting my Wednesday Facebook Live and realized I do not have One.Single.Green.Top in my closet. Oh well. We also didn’t have corned beef and cabbage, though I like it well enough. I guess that shows how Irish we are at my house! Still…
Top o’ the mornin’ to ya!
Thank you for Bundle #5! And congratulations to all the other winners! As for boiled cabbage, remember that cheese sauce covers a multitude of sins :). ‘Tain’t particularly Irish but when the need arises, you act accordingly.
Have a great week, all!
Yay for remembering this year! :)
Ha. I don’t have a ton of solid green, but I have a few things that at least have a little on them. I believe I wore a navy blue long sleeved t-shirt this year, but the writing on it was green.
You’re very welcome! I hope you enjoy the books therein!
And …I can’t even contemplated cheese sauce on cabbage. That does not sound amazing to my ears :D
What? Have you never had cooked cauliflower with cheese sauce? Cauliflower is nothing but cabbage with a college education. What’s sauce for the summa cum laude is sauce for the summa cum rowdy!
Corned beef is one of the best parts of St. Patrick’s Day!
Yes!
Congrats to all the winners! It’s always fun to win books.
The only thing I we did to celebrate St. Paddy’s day was I made corned beef, potatoes and carrots in the crock-pot for dinner, and my husband wore a green shirt to work. That’s about the extent nowadays.
I do remember when our kids were in Elementary school and they always made a big deal out of it. One of my daughter’s teachers even went as far as painting leprechaun footprints on the floor and made it look like he’d knocked things over in the classroom. My daughter was convinced he was real even though we had told her what her teacher did to make the day fun for the kids! She was adamant , lol!
Congrats to all the winners of the birthday bash! So exciting to see who won the great prizes. I see many happy hours of reading ahead :-)
Happy Sunday everyone! God bless you all
It definitely is! I love how many giveaways we have here – even when it’s not one of the two big ones!
What a fun memory of that teacher’s creativity. I love that.
Congratulations to all the winners.

Yes, we celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. We don’t drink or go to clubs, but we do wear green for the day, and four years ago, it also became a special family day as it was ‘Transfer Day’ for one of our little miracle granddaughters.
And corned beef and cabbage, I would never say NO to that. Congratulations to all the winners.
Yay! I’m glad it arrived 😊
Ooh, transfer day is a fabulous day! Congrats.
Congratulations!
I usually wear green.
That’s a good place to start :)
Congratulations to all the other winners. I am grateful for to all the authors. Thank you for sharing your time and your talent. God bless you.
We’re grateful for you!
Congratulations!!!
Lincoln! You and my husband must be related. When I married my husband 47 years ago, my mother in law told me with a cooking mishap to add cheese. Then Mikie would eat it. Being in seminary, cheese sauce works wonders on burned offering. Never had cheese on cabbage though. Thanks for the chuckle. Love the description of cauliflower. With the grandsons we have white and green trees (broccoli) for veggies. Happy reading.
Thank you all for the Congratulations! I’m so excited to receive my bundle this week or next week! Thank you very much, Inspyromance Authors! I am very much looking forward to reading the books. Thank you so much again! Also congratulations to the other winners!
Thank You All for the Congratulations and Thank You To All The Amazing and Wonderful Authors here on Inspy Romance ! Corn Beef and Cabbage is my Favorite on St. Patty’s Day! And Congratulations to all the other winners!
Thanks. My pleasure! :-)
