A request for prayer. Marion Ueckermann, a former IR author is extremely ill with Covid in South Africa. She is on a respirator and is not responding well to treatment. Her husband is quarantined with Covid at home and other family members also have Covid. While restrictions are being lifted in the United States and we all would love to return to normalcy, please be vigilant. Thank you. Enjoy your Sunday.

Happy Father’s Day! I won’t be doing anything for Father’s Day today, other than missing my Daddy. He’s been in his heavenly home for 25 years now. This year, Mom will be spending her first Father’s Day in heaven with her heavenly Father, her earthly father, and my Daddy. Some day, I’ll be with them, too.
Hugs. It makes these holidays harder for sure. But we grieve with hope.

Father, we lift up our sister Marion for Your healing grace. Please, grant peace to her family and wisdom to her doctors. We thank You also for the bond we have because You are our perfect heavenly father. May Your Spirit lead us in praise and worship for the love that You have shown us in Christ, in whose name we pray. Amen.

We celebrated a day early because my paramedic/captain husband has duty today. We gave him lots of goodies that offer relaxation on off-shift days and a steak and lobster tail dinner.
We make a big deal out of occasions here!

Happy Fathers Day to All the wonderful dad’s out there. God Bless you all. We will be going to our daughters today for dinner, (they live in our same town) her and our son in law always invite us and her father in law for dinner at their house.
Oh that sounds lovely! I’m so grateful we live near both sets of our parents. It makes it possible to have meals together for things like this. Or just whenever :)
Missing my daddy this Father’s Day. I pray all fathers have a blessed day. Hubby and I went out to eat after church and picked up milk and a few items and came home. I just took a homemade red velvet cake out of the oven for him. Off to make cream cheese frosting. Blessings
My father died several years ago. I tend to my garden and think of him.

In Australia Fathers day is the first Sunday in September. For me I haven’t really celebrated it since I was 11 as Dad died back then. But we normally recognise the men at church on the day.
Our church is good about making sure to celebrate all the men, dads or not.

Happy Father’s Day. I have talked to my Dad on the phone today. My husband was under the weather yesterday. My Dad has fluid on his lungs. I started taking Humara,, so I have to be very careful about being around people. We made pasta salad as well as beef and onion cheeseball for him. We will be delivering it to him tomorrow. We decided it was best for us to just talk on the phone. Congratulations to the winners.

My husband and I are taking a much needed vacation starting Sunday! Time spent with him is his Father’s day present, we don’t seem to get enough of it.
