God’s creation never fails to take my breath away. This was our view for an entire week in early June at a lovely place called Arlington Lakes. If you’ve been noticing any of my patterns in the past couple of years, you’ll easily guess why. It’s the perfect spot to pop in a kayak and hang out with loons, like I showed you last week.
Romans 1:20 says: For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities — his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God. (NLT)

What a beautiful place! Those pictures are wonderful! His power, love and kindness are there to be seen if we are willing not to turn from the truth. Praise His Name on this gift of a Sunday morning!
Congratulations to our winners and wishes for a great week to come! :-)
Trudy says
Your pictures always make me want to go there!! BC is definitely on my bucket list of places to visit!!! I missed this blog while I was on vacation!! I decided not to go back and try to read all 12 days that I missed, though! It was unintentional that I’d “unplug” from so much, though I think it was also good for me, too! This is the first thing I’ve gotten back to on a regular basis!
Valerie Comer says
Yes, glimpses of God are everywhere if we only look for them. It’s a beautiful Sunday morning here, too. I’m not used to the LUXURY of going to in-person church yet, but we’re headed off shortly. So, so thankful.
Valerie Comer says
Glad to see you back, Trudy! But yes, sometimes we really need to completely unplug. I’ll be doing that the last week of July. It’s a bit painful, though! So much FOMO (fear of missing out).
Jessica B. says
What a beautiful area. The picture of the fog rising from the lake is awesome!
Valerie Comer says
God heaped so much beauty in British Columbia it takes my breath away!
Mary Preston says
It does look like a beautiful spot.

I definitely love seeing all your photos Valerie. Such a beautiful area to camp & kayak in! I honestly don’t know how anyone CAN’T see God in creation, it’s all around us :-)
Another beautiful Sunday. I was able to go to church for the first time in over a year, and I didn’t know how much I missed it! Our church has been open for a while but I’ve chosen to stay away because of the grand-girl’s safety (we’re raising her) & there’s been no kids church. We had a missionary family from Japan come and minister to us & I wanted to be a part of that, plus we had fellowship time with coffee and goodies. It was SUCH a refreshing time!! It felt like having a cool drink of water after being in the desert for so long :-) I cant wait for next week!!
Congrats to the winners this week! God bless everyone here at IR.
Valerie Comer says
I’m glad you enjoy the photos! Today was my second time in church since BC opened up and it was such a thrill. Things opened more quickly/ thoroughly than expected so we were caught a little off-guard. Our pastor is on vacation! But he’d already set up swaps with other pastors to exchange recorded sermons, so we had LIVE singing and worship and a recorded message, which was still wonderful!
Lelia (Lucy) Reynolds says
