You’ve been visiting British Columbia’s Sunshine Coast with me in October. This particular day, we visited Francis Point Provincial Park on the Strait of Georgia. This was an easier hike than to Skookumchuk that I showed you last week, and all of it is on a bluff along the ocean. I had high hopes of glimpsing whales this day, but it was not to be. We did, however, enjoy dozens of arbutus trees that make that area their home.

Happy Sunday IR! Here’s to another week of faith-filled romance and the love of God that makes it all possible!
Amen!
Love the pics! The starfish are pretty! Had no idea some were purple!
Aren’t the colors cool?!? We nearly always see that range of colors. They are so pretty.
Pics are so cool this summer when we went to the beach we seen lots of starfish there was one that was bigger than my hand
I’m curious where that was , Kendra! Most I’ve seen have been as big as a dinner plate!
The beach was called long beach it’s in Oregon
Cool! I’ve been there… but didn’t see any starfish. Maybe I wasn’t looking closely enough for tiny ones!
I have never seen purple starfish until today, the colours are lovely. Have a blessed week ahead keep Jesus Christ first and your days will be blessed.
Thanks Angeline! I love the colors of the starfish, too. :)
The starfish are certainly vibrant.
And yet they can be hard to spot, since they’re often tucked under a rocky overhang where they’re a bit more protected from the sun and from predators.
Look at those lovely trees with the red bark! Do you know what those are called Valerie? God’s creation is so cool & comes in so many different shapes and forms. I love seeing nature wherever we go on a trip :-)
Happy Sunday IR! Thanks for sharing your pictures, I always enjoy looking at them. Blessings on your week everyone!
Those are arbutus! There aren’t many places in Canada where they grow, so it is always a treat to come across a stand of them :)
It’s a beautiful time of the year to get out in nature!
Oh, it sure is!
Love the starfish. Have a blessed week.
Me, too! Blessings on you as well.
Thank you for sharing such wonderful pictures. God bless you.
I’m so glad to share the photos!
Hi, sounds like a great line up of authors for this week. Thank you so much for sharing your great photos, I love the star fish. Have a great week and stay safe.
Thanks, Alicia!
I really enjoyed the Sunshine Coast when I was there even if I was really jetlagged. I had 2 and a half days there and had a great time. Seeing where the Beachcombers was filmed and the boat and Molly’s Reach was a highlight. Also my friends church had a lunch at a Dahlia place with so many to look at and it was so pretty. A few more days there would have been wonderful. I then went to Pemberton to my friend and I really love that area too. I do want to go back except my friend in Pemberton is now in Nova Scotia.
We’d intended to have lunch at Molly’s Reach as we did on our previous visit in 2018, but it was closed on this particular Monday. We wound up with Chinese food instead, which was tasty… but definitely wasn’t what we’d been planning for! Last time our visit to this section of the Sunshine Coast was about as short as yours, but this time we had seven days so got to enjoy it in greater depth.
I love the fall photos & in Canada at that!!
I’m happy to share them!
Great pictures. There very nice
I’m glad you enjoyed them!
Love the pictures❤️
I’m glad!
