Happy Sunday! We’re continuing our gratitude theme for November and this week I’ve been grateful for my daughter finishing her final year of schooling. The transition to parenting adult children is both exciting and challenging. Although we don’t celebrate Thanksgiving in Australia, we do have Black Friday sales starting this week. The beautiful spring rain and unseasonal cool weather is here to stay this week, too. I can almost imagine I’m living in the northern hemisphere with a white Christmas on the horizon, lol.

My garden is certainly enjoying this wet season.
I am very grateful for the cooller weather and the rain to wash away the pollen. Curled up with a great book and some yummy lemon tea is blissful. Oh and yes I did indulge in the Black Friday presales to order some divinely fragrant native Australian essential oils at half price.
Happy Sunday Narelle! In the Midwest we have had an unseasonable warm fall. This week temperatures have been between 30 to 60 degrees (0 – 15 degrees Celsius). We have had rain, sleet, hail, and snow. Sometimes all in a few hours time. Living near Lake Michigan – the warm waters keeps us warm. During these times as I watch the lake display either calm or the majestic power of the waves, I am thankful for God’s strength and power in our lives. The trees are being stubborn this year and refuse to let the leaves fall. This Michigander enjoys all four seasons. Best wishes. Happy Thanksgiving to all American Readers.
HAPPY SUNDAY!!!! :D We had some rain on FRiday, but yesterday was cool and crisp here in Northern Utah.
HAppy Thanksgiving to all who are celebrating this week! And best wishes for much success for those with books coming in Nov and Dec! :D
HAVE A GREAT DAY! :D
Surprisingly enough, Florida is cooler this month!! We’ve had days where our highs are only in the 70’s instead of the 90’s! I love it!! We’ve also gotten some much needed rain, too.
Hi, Narelle! A hearty congratulations to this week’s winner. Here in the US national capital region we have been enjoying beautiful, sunny days as temperatures begin to fall into the range one might expect for this season. And thank you so much, Narelle, for using the word “unseasonal” instead of the egregious “unseasonable”. :-)
Happy Thanksgiving to all those celebrating this week. May you know God and His love and grace this week more than last. And may your thanks be to Him first and foremost!
Hi, here in west Texas it has been a little warm, cooler this morning, no rain here for a while though. Have a great week and stay safe. Happy Thanksgiving to all .
We had a very cold start to last week I had fires again for several days. But it’s warming up for a few days now although it looks like the wet weather will be back soon. (Ironically we missed most of the rain last week). I like to not need to wear winter clothes this time of year. Last year I have the shade cloth on windows due to the heat this year its not even been thought of yet. But I am grateful for a nice day today
Chilly and overcast in WV today. Supposed to have rain later. I’m thankful my daughter and family will be here Wednesday for Thanksgiving and deer hunting.
My family & I traveled out of town last week to spend it with my sister-in-law & niece for an early Thanksgiving. What a wonderful week of family time, games, and sharing a lovely turkey dinner on Wednesday :-) We always come home refreshed and relaxed. But wanting to go back because a week is never enough time away…lol!
Happy Thanksgiving to all!
Have a blessed Thanksgiving
Hi Mary, yes, the lawn we replaced last year is thriving in the wet weather. Thanks for commenting. 😊
Hi Dianne, We’re experiencing record days re. pollen counts – so not fun. Curling up indoors with tea and a good book works for me, too. I’m glad you could take advantage of the presales deals. Thanks for commenting. 😊
Hi Renate, It’s interesting how unseasonal warm weather will delay the leaves falling. Enjoy the warmer weather while it lasts. Thanks for commenting. 😊
Congratultions, Gina. Thank you all for your being a wonderful blessing in my life. God bless you all.
That’s such a great accomplishment!! Congratulations to her and to the parents. ;)
Congrats! We had a nice day
It’s nice here but it gets cooler at night.

Hi Alicia, Enjoy your cooler weather and I hope the rain will arrive when it’s needed. Thanks for commenting. 😊
Hi Jenny, We’ve had to use the heating, too. It’s unusual for the cooler weather to continue into November. We jokingly talk about winter starting on ANZAC Day and ending by Remembrance Day. Enjoy your few days of warmer weather. Thanks for commenting. 😊
Hi Lucy, Enjoy spending time with your daughter and family over Thanksgiving. Thanks for commenting. 😊
Hi Trixi, I’m glad you enjoyed an early Thanksgiving celebration with your family. Vacations are always too short, imho. Thanks for commenting. 😊
Thanks, Natalya 😊
