Happy Sunday! I’m hosting the Sunday Edition in February, and this weekend the Winter Olympics has opened for our viewing pleasure. Or, our viewing pain if watching winter sports is not your thing. Have you started watching the Winter Olympics? Last night I watched the snowboarding and the awesome aerial stunts. I like the snowboarding events more than skiing. The thought of attempting either sport on a steep slope is terrifying, and I admire the agility of all the athletes. Bobsledding on a very gentle slope with no obstacles in my path would be more my style, lol.

Mary Preston says
The Winter Olympics are fun to watch. It all looks so dangerous- maybe not curling though.
Ausjenny says
I have been watching the Moguls (watching the women right now) I watched the snowboarding today and that was interesting. Watching the girls excited for each other was really nice to see. (Like the skateboarding in the summer olympics). I have to say I am really enjoying the curling. Its taken a bit but getting to understand it and so excited for the aussie pair who won their first match today. Considering we don’t have a curling rink in Australia. It just goes a bit to late for me
Narelle Atkins says
Hi Mary, yes, the curling looks like the safest option, lol. Thanks for commenting. 😊
Narelle Atkins says
Hi Jenny, I feel pain in my knees when watching the Moguls, lol. I also watched some curling because it’s relaxing. It is kind of like playing lawn bowls on ice. Yay for the Aussies winning a game! Thanks for commenting. 😊

I don’t watch the Olympics, but then, I really use the tv as background noise while I’m reading!! Sometimes I do follow the shows, but usually while reading!!
Alicia Haney says
Congratulations to the winners. Yes, I watched some of the snowboarding and the aerial stunts, wow, they are something to watch , scares me just watching them doing those stunts. Have a great week and stay safe.

Hi Jcp, Thanks for stopping by. 😊
Narelle Atkins says
Hi Trudy, yes, I used to study for school and university with sports playing in the background. Cricket was the best because I only needed to look at the tv screen when the ball was being bowled, lol. I also read while my husband watches tv. Thanks for commenting. 😊
Narelle Atkins says
Hi Alicia, yes, I think wow, and I also think about how I’m happy to watch from a distance! Enjoy your week and thanks for commenting. 😊

I am not a fan of sports. I like to see where the USA stands in the medal count. Otherwise, I would rather be reading. Thank you so much for sharing. Congratulations to the winners. God bless you.
Trixi says
We don’t watch the Olympics at our house. The only sporting event we do watch is NFL football :-) That’s about to wrap up with the Superbowl this next Sunday.
Congrats to Renate & Judy on winning the gift cards! Looking forward to another great week here.
