Hey everyone! Welcome to the Sunday Edition!
Did y’all have a good week? Mine was… um… busy. The 13yo had Influenza A. The 9yo had a reaction to the preventative round of Tamiflu and I ended up at the doctor with my sister who’s been sick for weeks (and probably, but not definitely, the source of the 13yo’s flu). All of that combined to nix the visit to see my new great-nephew :( but we didn’t want to risk getting him sick, though no one appears to be contagious at the moment. To top it off, I found out that my great-aunt, who I may have met as a child but only reconnected with about two months ago, died this week :(. She was in her 80s and it was peaceful, but unexpected as I understand it. The visitation is less than a four hour drive but weather over the Midwest means it’s unlikely I’ll be able to go. (All of that’s also why there’s only one pic today… :p)
So that’s my week – I hope yours was better!
