Evidence of spring probably arrives a little later in the season here in southeastern British Columbia than where many of you live! We had quite a lot of snow well into March, but there are always signs of spring, even so. The tree swallows are busy inspecting nesting boxes at our local wildlife center these days.

Congratulations to the winners! Florida doesn’t participate in Spring, we’ve jumped to Summer already! We had severe thunderstorms Friday and yesterday, so at least we may not get drought conditions this year! Still waiting for some plants to put on leaves and flowers, though my dessert roses are blooming!
It would be sad to skip spring. I think it is my favorite. Shh, don’t tell the others!

Congratulations to all the winners! What a very nice photo of the birds! I love Spring, I love hearing all the birds chirping and the have started nests here on our Honeysuckle and on other bushes also. Spring bulbs are coming up nicely also. Have a great week and stay safe.

I am late. Been a really busy day and got home so exhausted. Love the photos. We are still having nice weather for Autumn we got 23c today after a cooler start of 7c. cooler tomorrow 19c than going up to about 24. Not ready for fires yet.

We’re hovering a little cooler here as we head into spring. I don’t think we’ve cleared 20 yet, and it definitely won’t be today as it is cool and rainy today!

They are the cheeriest sign of spring :)
Signs of spring run a little later here too on the Oregon coast, but I have seen daffodils, purple crocuses, budding cherry trees and lots of signs of green grass coming up. Even seen a few hummingbirds! :-) This is my favorite time of year.
We also have lots of swallows here, both barn and purple martins, but they don’t start showing up till a little later. They flit all over the place & make such a racket, lol! I love seeing God’s creation, don’t you?
Here we’re in crocus season but before daffodils!
