Doesn’t that picture just make you want to go somewhere tropical for a day or two? (Might just be me. Generally speaking, I’m not one for the beach, but the beach does sort of epitomize to me the idea of “getting away from it all” and I could really go for that right now. We’re in the process of moving and, well, if you know moving, you know it’s just a teeny bit stressful.)
I feel like I ask this every time I’m on Sundays, but I guess I don’t care — if you could go anywhere on vacation tomorrow, where would you go?

Right now want to go somewhere warmer but a dry heat not humid so that cuts Hawaii out. if its warmer than here BC Canada sounds good to me. Vancouver Island, Pemberton area as the mountains are beautiful and Vancouver cos Its a lovely place (and maybe I can even catch up with Valerie.) (Oh its nice to dream.
Elizabeth Maddrey says

We’re on our way to a church family camp in the foothills of the California Sierras. So that’s kind of like a vacation, right?! :-) I’m the registrar, so if I can survive Monday, the rest of the week is downhill. On the way home, we’re going through South Lake Tahoe to see my niece, her kids, and my other niece’s son, so that’s even more vacation like – just wish we could stay longer than one night. And I live by the ocean, so last week we got to have lunch at a nice restaurant on the beach. I don’t really need to go away :-)
Elizabeth Maddrey says
Absolutely like a vacation – especially since it’s so gorgeous there! Have a great week.
Alicia Haney says
Good morning, I would go to the mountains in NM and stay in a cabin. Have a great Sunday and a great week.

Happy Sunday. This picture makes me want to go back to Hawaii
Elizabeth Maddrey says
Oooh, such a pretty beach! Good choice!
Elizabeth Maddrey says
Ooh, yes.
Elizabeth Maddrey says
Right? I’ve never been – I keep telling hubby he owes me a trip since we had orders for Hawaii when he was Army but ended up not actually getting to report there but diverted to South Carolina instead.
Trixi says
I’d go back to Crater Lake OR and stay in the little cabin we rented a few years back. Such an awesome place! It was right by a little pond where we watched a pair of ducks swimming around. It also has a foot path to walk along, which we did each night. I think if I could be near a body of water for vacation, that’s my happy spot!
Happy Sunday IR!!
P.S. I feel you on moving Elizabeth! No fun at all, I think the best part is the unpacking….lol!
Elizabeth Maddrey says
That sounds amazing. What a fantastic vacation spot.
Mary Preston says
I LOVE the beach. I’m just happy there is no wind today.
Elizabeth Maddrey says
I know I’m unusual for it not being my go-to happy place. :)
Debra Pruss says
I would stay home. I enjoy being home. Good luck with your move. Congratulations to the winners. God bless you all.
Dianne says
I’d choose Uluru right now. Gorgeous and the polar cold snap winds would lose their chill coming across the desert and it would be nice and dry and warm.
Amy Perrault says
I’d pick both camping here at the river & going to Italy.
Sylvain Perrault says
I would choose the little motel where I had my honeymoon on the lake.
Elizabeth Maddrey says
Home is definitely good.
Elizabeth Maddrey says
Ooh. That sounds amazing.
Elizabeth Maddrey says
Both sound great
Elizabeth Maddrey says
Aw.
