Happy Sunday, all!
I hope your week has gone well! Mine’s been good except my doc has me on a new med that’s supposed to help get rid of the migraines (usually related to the dramatic weather changes we get here in the Midwest). So far we haven’t had any while I’ve been on it, but it’s making me groggy :p. That’s supposed to be temporary (not sure exactly HOW temporary…) but if it stops the headache’s it’s worth it!
Did you do anything interesting this week/end? I took my 13yo daughter on a mother-daughter date Saturday night – Olive Garden followed by Penguins of Madagascar. Very cute! Glad we didn’t pay full price for it (rarely do) but definitely missed the much nicer seats (recliners!) at our favorite theater! Let’s see… Sundays mean church and horse lessons for the 9yo (she loves them! The 7yo? Notsomuch when he has to sit there for an hour/hour and a half ;). But hubs works the last Sunday of the month so he has no choice :D.) What happens at your house? Last week, Trixie mentioned grandbabies. Anyone else? I SHOULD finally get to meet my new grand-nephew next weekend! Can’t wait!

Good morning Carol! I hope your week has gone good for you. I am sorry to hear that you have been suffering from migraine headaches but hopefully the new medicine will help alleviate these for you. I will keep you in my prayers :-) It sounds like you had a great time Saturday on your mother/daughter date with a yummy dinner followed by a movie. What a treasure to be able to spend some quality time with your kids. It’s something you both will hold in your hearts! Meeting your new grand-nephew sounds so exciting for you! Family is so important isn’t it? I know I always love driving the 4 hours to my sis-in-laws to spend some girl time with her & my niece for about a week at a time! We have created lots of good memories to treasure for years to come. And we DO love to babysit our grand-daughter, We look forward to it every weekend. I have so many good memories of my own grandparents that I hope to be all that my grandma was to me! Although, my husband is the apple in my granddaughters eyes, definitely a grandpa’s girl, lol! I love watching the interaction between those two. Have a blessed week Carl, you & yours! Keep making those memories together :-)
