Last week, I shared a few photos of our camping trip to Premier Lake. Some days were too windy and rainy for kayaking, so we chose some hiking trails, too. One day, we hiked to Cat’s Eye Lake. Why is it named this? I don’t know! But it was a fun little trek partly along this tumbling creek.

Okay now you have me wanting to visit your part of the country Valerie! What beautiful pictures, I can imagine it’s even more so in person. I don’t do a lot of hiking, but have done some just for fun over the years. Being out in God’s creation is just so relaxing :-)
Oregon coast has so many different waterfalls & lakes too with many places to hike. When my husband and I first married, we took our honeymoon and 1st year anniversary exploring along the Columbia river. Stopped at Multnomah falls, Horsetail falls, Bridal Veil falls and walked around some of the trails. I want to do that again soon because it’s such a gorgeous place. Reminds me of the pictures you’ve shared. I had to look up Cat’s Eye Lake, wow!! Stunning! :-)
Congrats to this weeks winner! Happy Sunday IR

Hi Trixi! We love the Oregon coast, especially Cape Perpetua. Last time we were there was November of 2019, and we stopped at several of those falls you mentioned, too, on our way by!
