On Father’s Day, we trekked over the mountains to spend the afternoon with our daughter’s family. They wanted to show us this gorgeous field of lupins, a short hike off the road. I wish I could adequately describe the rich floral fragrance and the steady hum of the busy little bumblebees. Such a magical spot!

I forgot to comment but I do love the photos and I could tell you were on a hill. So good to get the photo. As someone who doesn’t have one family photo of the whole family I try to stress how important it is. I only have 2 photos of me with dad (when I was about 6 weeks old) None with the whole family. My brother has several and several with cousins and relatives. I have about 2 also until I was 11 and had some with second cousins. It is really important to have some family photos for all kids.
Valerie Comer says
Yes, full family photos are important. Our last ones were nearly five years ago, when the now-five-year-old was a baby and the current baby was not a gleam in anyone’s eye! Our kids have had their family photos done several times since, but not with the expanded clan.
