Happy Sunday! I’ve spent part of today doing one of my favorite things (reading, of course!), and I was disappointed to be stuck indoors this afternoon. We have headache-inducing spring storms hanging around with a lot of rain falling, and I had hoped to sit outdoors in the shade and finish my reading. The photo above is one of the succulents that’s flowering in my reading corner in our yard. I’m looking forward to a sunny afternoon to indulge in some outdoor reading soon.

The weather hasn’t been good has it. We had lots of rain again yesterday and parts of the city and state (north of me) are without power some will be without power till Tuesday with many schools etc closed tomorrow due to the storms.
Today the weather has been oppressive, but we didn’t get the rain yet. I too would love some spring weather without the rain. (So much of the country is so wet and flooding with further down river expecting higher flooding than first expected). a few years ago it was the horrific bush fires this year its flooding.
Hi Jenny, I didn’t realise the storms were that bad around Adelaide. Your weather is probably heading my way in the coming days. We can’t seem to get the happy middle balance of a good amount of rain and it not being too dry that there’s catastrophic bushfire risks. I’m also not used to it being green on the hills in November. Enjoy your week and thanks for commenting. 😊
Since Nicole finally left, we’ve been drying out! Today is a tad bit cooler, as we won’t be getting close to 90, but staying in the low 80’s!! I’ll be reading inside in the A/C, though I might go out on my back porch for awhile, too!
Good morning, here in west Texas it is a little chilly. The hight for today is supposed to be in the mid 60’s and today should be the warmest day of the week. We got our first freeze yesterday morning . We have crazy weather here in west Texas, one day it can be in the hight 80’s and the next day it can be super cold. I just take one day at a time . Your succulents are beautiful. Have a great day and a great week. Congratulations to the winner.
It’s unseasonably warm in the UK, bright and sunny and 17 degrees (low 60s) where I am, it should be frosty and cold by now.
Hope everyone has had a good weekend.
Congratulations, Tammy. Thank you so much for sharing. God bless you.
Hi Trudy, I’m glad you’re having dry and cooler weather, and I hope Nicole didn’t cause major problems. Happy reading and thanks for commenting. 😊
Hi Alicia, I hope the crazy weather changes settle down soon. I’m enjoying the spring flowers in my garden. Enjoy your week and thanks for commenting. 😊
Hi Ruthie, We only reached 17C today and we’re usually mid 20’s or higher at this time of year. Enjoy the warmer weather while it lasts, and thanks for commenting. 😊
