Did you grow up with the saying about March coming in like a lion and going out like a lamb, or vice versa? If not, it’s to do with when it’s windiest (as March tends to be a windy month with the change in season happening.) This past week, here in Northern Virginia, it was definitely a week of lion.
The best thing about it though, was that it was beautiful kite flying weather. And my youngest and I are big kite flying fanatics. So we took good advantage of the time to send his three-headed dragon soaring up in the air with the birds. (Several of the gliding turkey vultures came over to see who the interloper was.)

I’ve never flown a kite. It does sound fun though, I think my kids would enjoy it so might look in to getting one and giving it a go.

I do not love cold snowy Marches. I had them growing up and it’s one thing I’m glad to be rid of.

Thank you, and congratulations to all of the others, too!! It’s windy here today in Florida!! Of course, it usually is! At least the humidity isn’t as bad as it will be in the summer, and it’s much cooler today!! It’s also very overcast, but I’ll take cooler any day!!! Today is also the last day of Spring Break, which means all school zones will be back tomorrow! I don’t have kids, and rarely know when schools are out, so I’m always paying attention to those signs! The only times I know for sure I don’t have to pay attention are Spring Break and when school’s out for the summer!
Priscila Perales says

I had heard the saying before not sure I knew when it was.
Congrats to all winners.
Elizabeth Maddrey says
I wonder if yours is September because it’s Spring for you.
