I can’t believe we’re past the half-way point for July! (Or we’re right at it, I guess, depending on how you want to deal with the fact that you can’t divide 31 equally by 2.)
I’ve started prepping supplies for back to school with my boys. And we’re hard at work on the InspyRomance admin team getting the Back to School Giveaway prepped for its kickoff in less than a month!
While we’ve already figured out the prizes for this giveaway, I’d love for you to leave a comment of what you’d dream of winning (beyond books, obviously) in this year’s Birthday Bash in February — where we’ll be celebrating 10 Years!

Hi Elizabeth! Yes, time marches on. Summer is half over. Stores are putting out Back to School items. My grandkids start in 6 weeks, but I have picked a few items – highlighters, pencils.
Congrats to IR for 10 years. Wow! Some prizes for the Birthday Bash. Birthdays are special so more personal book reading related items like: a journal with books on the cover, a scarf with books on it, fuzzy socks (if you can read this, don’t disturb), a T-Shirt (this gal loves reading), Amazon gift cards are always welcome to the reader. Happy Sunday.
Best
Bookish socks would be a fun prize. Notepads and pens are always useful. Bookish stickers would be something fun and different.
I enjoy cute/pretty mugs for tea. Thanks for your generosity!!
10 years is amazing! I started reading the blog around the back to school bash last year, I’m so glad I did as I’ve found so many great books and authors and really enjoyed chatting with other readers.
I guess it’s nice to win any sort of prize, as others have said a cute note book or cozy socks would be great, or maybe some snacks to enjoy with a good book.
Best wishes. I know this maybe too expensive, but most readers like a beverage while they read – so an insulated beverage holder for hot or cold. I have seen some fun ones. Things with a book slogan, book quotes, book titles, etc.
So many great ideas thank you!
Love these thanks!
I’m seeing a mug theme!
We’re glad you found us! Great suggestions thank you!
I like Amazon gift cards as my mom and I order lots of amazon.i also enjoy Starbucks gift cards
Thank you!
I love bookmarks! There are some with a secular romance theme (phrases for example) and some Christians. It would be nice if there were some with an inspirational romance or Christian romance theme!
congratulations on 10 years. a wonderful mark. I always love books, but I also would go for: Amazon Gift Card, Pretty Note Book, Pretty Book Marks ( I have seen some with metal that has pretty beads/cat/ dog/etc), Socks, Seeds, Scarves, Mug
Well, in addition to the books, I love note books, pens, bookmarks, socks, mugs, tote bags, Amazon gift cards, candles, magnets, magnetic bookmarks, teas. Pretty much, you name it, I like it! lol!!!
Oooh – this is a great idea!
Love this, thanks. Scarves would never have occurred to me and you’re not alone in mentioning them!
lol – you are blessedly easy to please! :)
Congratulations on 10 yeaes!! That is a milestone. I’ve been here for a year, maybe 2. I have met some really good authors and enjoyed reading their stories. I have read over the comments today. Everyone had made some really good suggestions. I can’t add much, except maybe some inspirational scripture cards or prayer cards.
Ooh, I like those ideas. Thanks!
Congrats on 10 years! That’s just amazing! ❤
Of course I love gift cards, I also like bookish t-shirts and a case for kindles I have different sizes, would be cool too.
I enjoy anything you do. It is always fun to be involved. Thank you so much for sharing. God bless you. Please stay cool and safe.
I think a t-shirt or a cozy blanket would be a great addition to the prizes.
