Welcome to September!
We’ve been getting a tiny taste of fall weather here in the Northern Virginia area. Highs have been in the low to mid 80s. There’s been a nice breeze. Evenings are getting cool. Mornings are crisp.
I know we’ll get another month, possibly six weeks, of hot and humid before we settle into fall for real, but I am enjoying this taste most decidedly and spending as much time out on the deck as possible.

Good morning. We’ve had a couple of days in the mid 80s, but it’s going back up to the mid to upper 90s starting Tuesday. I don’t really like cold weather, but cooler weather would be nice.
Have a beautiful day.
We’ve been having cooler temps in southwest VA, but today the high goes back up to 90.
It was nice this past week but it is going to be in the 90’s starting tomorrow.
We are supposed to get to 100 tomorrow, so I’m glad I enjoyed it while I could. :) Happy Sunday!
Yes – hot again here in northern VA and then gross starting tomorrow.
Haha. I think we all enjoyed that little break from summer heat!
Happy Sunday to you all!
Here in the UK they are forecasting a heatwave, temperatures may get up to around 80 where i am, which is hot for us lol.
If you’re not used to it, it’s still hot!
You’re very fortunate! We’ll have summer until maybe the end of October, and maybe even through the end of the year! Florida is NOT good about participating in anything but summer!! Hurricane season peaks this month, and runs until November 30.
Florida definitely does it’s own thing!
The last two days were amazing in Cali.
It rained!
Have a blessed weekend!
Happy Sunday
Yay rain!
Thanks! You too.
Happy Sunday! We’re excited here in SE Texas to have highs only in the 90s & lows in the 70s for the first time in a long while….and fingers crossed we might even see a little rain!
The next three or so days for us are supposed to be 95-100. I’m ready for cooler weather (and some rain)!
Ooh! Rain would be fantastic for y’all!
Me too! Bring on the cool, lol.
I love it when the weather is still sunny but it feels cooler when standing in the shade. :)
Yes! That’s the best.
Happy Sunday it was cooler this last week with rain but yesterday it was 86 now today it rained on and off we needed the rain as we didn’t really get any this summer but I’m not ready for rain as Washington has wet winters and springs.
We will probably have at least four weeks of summer heat and humidity left. Congratulations to this weeks winners. Thank you so much for sharing. God bless you.
I would love some rain here but I know it’ll come eventually.
Hopefully not too hot or humid.
Congratulations to the winners!
Indiana (by Chicago) has been cool but tomorrow is supposed be 91. Last week they were saying 110 on the app for Wednesday but their website said 95.🤷🏼♀️
❤️
They’re saying 98 for us tomorrow so I’m glad I enjoyed the break while I had it.
We have been in the 80’s for a couple of nights. I am sad that we will be back up in the 90’s for the next couple of weeks. I am enjoying that it is now in the 70’s at night. It helps.
we are in spring although today is very windy and have found the wind up here howls at times. I also have a whirlybird (its a metal vent that spins to take hot air out of the roof cavity) is extremely noisy in the strong wind. think the sound of a train carriage. chugging along the ralis. add that the the howling at times and its loud.
I am looking forward to warmer days. Today because of the overcast skies the sunrise which I have a great view of now was so spectacular.
The cooler nights are my favorite as well.
I love a good wind, although maybe not as strong as yours sounds.
Here in Georgia, I am looking forward to the cooler temps.
I live in Virginia also, near Richmond. We have broken records this week with our high temperatures. I am not a fan of hot weather and I am so looking forward to cooler weather.
