Here in Virginia, the leaves are just starting to change color — it’s been so lovely to watch our forest and see the subtle shifts from morning to morning as the cooler evening temperatures start to do their work on the trees.

Fall is in the air in SW Michigan with lower temperatures and few tree tops have some color changes. Due to the warmth from Lake Michigan it will be mid-October before leaves change completely. Not much in the way of changing leaves yet in my neck of the woods.
It’s a bit early. I was surprised we are getting some.
It’s still summer weather here and will stay that way till mid October if we’re lucky.
I suspect we have at least one more heat wave before fall stays put.
