It’s Sunday, and it has been a hard week. The situation in Israel and Gaza can’t be ignored. I have a family member on the other side of the world who’ll be meeting Jesus any day. I’m also relieved I’m not writing this post from the hospital bedside of another family member. I’m thankful for meds that can cure serious illnesses.
Sometimes all we can do is pray. I’m praying for peace, knowing that the pathway to peace can be difficult and feel impossible. I hold onto verses like John 16:33 (NIV):
“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

My wishes and prayers are with you.
Thank you for this Narelle. I’m praying for you and your family, for all the writers and readers here at Inspy Romance and like you for the Peace of God which the world so badly needs.
Hi Narelle! Blessings to YOU and your loved ones. Encouragement to all and IR authors and readers from Philippians 4:6 – 7: Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Blessings for the week.
I don’t watch the news, just local so I can know what my weather is going to be, especially since we’re still in hurricane season. Even with that, I’ve known about Israel. I was telling myself the same thing you have here, we always have trouble, we will always have the poor. Thankful we’re all in this together, and that we can all pray for each other, and know that God hears us!
I am so sorry. Sending you love, hugs and prayers. Thank you for sharing. God bless you.
Thank you, Dianne. 😊
Thank you, Ruthie. Much prayer is needed. 😊
Thank you, Renate. We appreciate your encouragement. 😊
Thank you, Trudie. The new is hard to watch. We are all in this together, for sure, and we can pray for each other. 😊
Thank you, Debra. Blessings to you. 😊
