What are you thankful for this week? I’m filled with awe, wonder, and gratitude at the beautiful planet God created for us to enjoy. Here’s just a bit more of Alberta from our vacation with the grandgirls this summer. The photo above was taken at Lundbreck Falls. The girls and I climbed down the trails to the river and waded in the cool water.
To carry on our dinosaur theme, we spent an entire day at the Royal Tyrrell Museum of Paleontology. The girls had a great time — the big girls, especially — but I think if any of us had to pick, we enjoyed Dinosaur Provincial Park more! The dioramas were cool, though, and they took a lot of photos and did a lot of sketching. We have artists in our midst!

I like your pictures!! I’ve been to Epcot twice, and both times I had to go to the Canadian site to watch the film. It was the same film both times, though I went ten years apart! Still, the scenery they show is breathtaking!! God’s creation shows His creativity, and how vastly different each part of a country can be!
Valerie Comer says
Thank you! You, too!
Valerie Comer says
I’m glad you enjoyed them!
Valerie Comer says
Thanks, Ruthie! God really did stretch his imagination with all the variety in creation!
Valerie Comer says
Oh, fun! I haven’t seen their show. Canada (like the USA and some other countries) is large enough to have quite varied landscapes. It’s breathtaking.

Yes! There’s not much in the way of straight roads in much of Alberta! Thanks for popping by. :)

What amazing photos. I’m so glad you have such a wonderful time with the girls. Do you ever sell any of your photos? The cover photo would make a fabulous wallpaper on the laptop. Thanks for sharing.
Valerie Comer says
Thanks for the compliment! No, I don’t sell my photos. I don’t have fancy equipment or editing software. I shoot mostly on my phone to make memory books for my family, but I do appreciate the compliment!
