Happy December!
I don’t know what it is this year, but I’m really looking forward to Christmas and soaking in all the anticipatory decorations and atmosphere more than usual.
Often, when the boys start jumping around as soon as the Thanksgiving dishes are washed asking about decorating, I drag my feet a bit. Not so this year.
This is the first Sunday of Advent. If you’re lighting candles, or just following along in your heart, the theme is Hope.

Wishing all Inspy Romance authors and readers blessing on this First Sunday of Advent. My Advent Wreath is the first holiday decoration of the season. Been so focused on Advent that I actually lit the first candle on Friday. Most years the First Sunday of Advent is the Sunday following Thanksgiving. Been a gloomy rainy few days in Michigan, so I needed extra light and hope. I so enjoy my German holiday traditions, putting out my shoes December 5 and HOPING that St. Nikolaus has me on the nice list.
For readers that enjoy Hallmark movies – so glad to see so many European traditions portrayed (Germany, Scotland, Norway). World travel from the comfort of home. The German family in the movie Heidelberg Christmas celebrates Advent. Inspiring movie with 3 generations, contrasting German and American Christmas traditions, while you walk the streets of Heidelberg at Christmas and visit a German Christmas market. Hanukkah starts Thursday, Dec. 7 at nightfall. Yes December is my favorite time of year. Happy Holidays!

Happy Sunday to you all. I have had a very lucky week this week! A big thank you to all the authors for the fun giveaways, I’m really looking forward to reading Merrille and Laura’s books.
I got some great news this week!! I finally got the pathology report from my biopsy, and I do NOT have breast cancer!! Honestly, I came up with pros and cons for having/not having, and only wanted to know if I did or not! No matter what, I knew God would be with me through it all, and I know He’s in control! I’m also glad I don’t have to make the decisions I thought I was facing!
