Today is the fourth Sunday of Advent – even though it’s also Christmas Eve! Our Advent theme this week is Love. And that is so very fitting on this day that is also the eve of Jesus’s birth.
For God so loved the world that He sent His only Son that whoever believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life. ~John 3:16
Behold what manner of love the Father has given unto us that we should be called the sons of God. ~1 John 3:1

today we lit the 4th candle and because we are not having a service tomorrow morning we lit the 5th candle also. We had a nice service with someone doing a Shepherds reading which included some carols we sang. (It would have been fine to use with out the short sermon we also had.
I hope you all have a blessed Christmas.

Been a busy month for this wife, mom & Oma! Meeting with friends and family. Our greatest Christmas blessing celebrated his 16th birthday by driving himself to school and then to the airport, where he flew and landed to single engine planes solo, plus received an achievement award for a 4.0 average 3 semesters in a row. Proud Oma moment.
